nore me ,,the worst part is i bought some of these years ago to buy some stuff off silkroad ,,cant remember how much or what happened to em but i think was at least 100 bucks ,,probably worth millions now :(

Dude I sold hundreds for not even200 bucks each. I could be an a yaught right now. I played with btc through so many crashes and never expected it to get this high..2 grand tops I thought

But, I'd be nervous as fuck if I held a large amount. The price lost 25% of its value overnight only to regain it in less than 3 hours. Still volitale as hell and when you have average Joe's entering any market that usually means it's time to gtfo lol

I finally got into my BTC account today.
Made me smile...

I bought $200 worth BTC on Oct 15 '16 & this eve it was well over $2200.

Not bad...
Not bad!

I sure wish I'd have invested a few grand back then. DOH!
Live & learn.

Um..bitcoin did not go up more than 10x it's value since you got you 200 bucks worth which it would of had to too grow your 200 into over 2k...unless you bought the coins last year or something..?

buy cardano. vertcoin and iota...

Yep, all good technologies especially Cardano. They've just got to break through their highly ambitious white paper. If they do it then Cardano has the potential to be huge. I also like arc, dash and civic.

Those talking about crypto being a bubble I'd say it's here to stay. There will be a major cull of some of the coins at some point as many are over valued. Do your research before investing in alt coins.. I heard a prediction that at least 80% of coins won't make it in the next decade or so.

I also agree with some commentators that say there will be a major pull back of Bitcoin; maybe by 50%. Watch the even numbers it reaches. 12000 is the next.. you could start to see a slow pull back from then. I'm don't have anything in bitcoin presently but will certainly buy in when it pulls back. Bitcoin still has a long way to go but needs a correction.

Just my two pennies

search any old harddrives from back then for a wallet.dat file. Make a copy of it, if you find it.

Should you find one for bitcoin, it's either a "bitcoin" wallet file or an Electrum wallet file. Download the latest bitcoin wallet from bitcoin.com and the latest electrum wallet for bitcoin (there are electrum wallets for other coins). Start it up and wait till it's fully synchronized. Shut it down and copy your wallet.dat file over top of the one the new wallet created. Re-open and wait for it to synchronize. The electrum wallet.dat will not work with the bitcoin wallet.dat and vice versa, so you'll quickly know if you have the right app.

You may have bitcoin. Which means you also have the same amount in Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold. :tiphat:

if you buy bitcoin to pay for seeds..there is a small chance you might make a few pennies too..bitcoin jumped from 500$ each to over 4000$ in the last few months..

after simply "looking into" bitcoin to pay for seeds offered from breeders retail I ended up earning more moñey than I ever have in a single year...

bitcoin...daaaaaam right!!

anyone needs help..im here to help

Will it spread be dedicated to this or is there another area where people can communicate with you

Be sure to save a few, because you never know where it may end up at a few years from now. :) I didn't pick up any myself, hadn't the funds. heh

I am holding a bit of each:

LISK I forget why... lol
EOS You will be able to lease to others
ICOO pays dividends
ZEC Strongly valued Anon coin
XMR Strongly valued Anon coin

I don't buy in to ICO's unless they have a product ready to go. Most every ICO I've seen, where there's a long development period, the price drops lower than the ICO value.

BTC broke $13k... Wall Street getting on board is going to have a crazy effect.

I suffer from this problem occasionally. *facepalm* I still appreciate the feedback, and I know you weren't talking to me.

IOTA the last week has been nuts. I still have .05 btc from buying 6 coins in 2012.

Talk about missed opportunities. Debating trading a bit of that btc for some of that IOTA if it drops down below 2.5 again.

Bitcoin futures will hit the exchanges December 18.
Yes, and that means the shorts are gonna pile in like never b4. I predict panic will ensue and ppl will sell big time. In the long run it may have the effect of moderating bitcoin's bounces, making it more steady, but don't count on it.

I think after a huge fall and bizes including banks losing out, most of these alternative currencies will become pariahs.

Far more companies abandoning bitcoin than taking it on.
Try to cash out your bitcoins today or spend them anywhere in the real world. Better do it while you still can. Good luck!

The banks are only interested in getting into the game so they don't have to put all their cash into building new homes for the millions that need them. They'd rather gamble in the E-Casino of alternative currencies cause then they can hide their profits more easily.

I would 100% cash out asap. When in all of history has any currency based on nothing not ended in a crash? You can say it is based on the dollar but it too is now based on nothing and manipulating interest rates while printing money with insane debt will only get us so far. I stayed out because I worried governments would outlaw it like China has. I am really surprised our professional extortioners in the states have not already outlawed this.
