would it be possible to find thc% by taking say like 1/2 oz and soaking in 99% alcohol for long enough to dissolve all tricomes and then filtering all organic material out, evaporate alcohol off and weigh the finished oil to get what percentage of that 1/2 oz is thc? could you get close to the actual % this way?

Yes You can get a rough estimate but the longer you wash the more chlorophyll you will have ....qwick wash and you wont get it all
