Advice on how ya'll take such incredible pictures?

Just this guy, ya know?
I know a picture is only as good as the camera/lens that takes it, so I don't expect to take masterpieces with a crappy digital, but any pointers or does/dont's that would help would be rad, thanks!

I used to have a kinda nice camera and I used to take great pictures with it. Crappy cell phone shots now a days though.
Here's what I did when I still cared enough lol

Pull said plant out of the grow room.

Solid color backdrop usually darker in color.
I used a black sheet mostly.

Lighting, the sun it the absolute best if you can. But a well lit room will do.

Tripod. $20 gets you a nice small one that will fit most camera models.

A crop feature on the camera helps a lot too.

Take LOTS of pictures, but only select the best few.

Good luck friend :tiphat:

I read a great article, 3 simple tips to take great photos, many have already been mentioned.

-tripod - keeps your camera steady
-natural light/no flash - it looks the best/most natural
-delayed shutter/timer - no camera wiggle from you pushing the button

I took these with a black background, using a cool white led as sort of a spotlight. No editing besides cropping.

I miss my old 35mm SLR camera that used Kodachrome film...
Ektachrome was my favorite film and apparently Kodak is bringing it back! I've got my FE2 at the ready for an old school revival. :)

As far as taking bud shots goes; a darker background, reasonably short depth of field for a blurred background, clean white light, a tripod with timer, and spot metering or slight under-exposure should all help.
