1-1/4 cups of flour
1 stick (4oz) cannabutter
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3-4 tbsp ice water
Makes 1 pie crust. Double if a top and bottom are needed.
A rolling pin and pastry knife really help out, but plastic wrap and a sturdy fork can work just as well.
If you need a cannabutter recipe go here real quick and come back.
First cut up the butter into chunks and set it in the fridge. Mix the flour, sugar and salt together in a large bowl.
Drop the butter in the dry ingredients and use the fork or pastry cutter to make peas size pieces of butter in the flour, butter mixture.
Add the ice water to the bowl and gently mix it in until the dough can hold together.
Dont be afraid to set the whole thing in the refrigerator if at any point your butter gets too soft. The clumps of butter and the pockets they make are the key to flaky crust.
Roll this baby out and slap her on the bottom of a pie pan. Done and done.
