The black is pure black , the gold is a hybrid of gold bud and Mota aka rainbow bud , I believe just the best of the selection at the time
I’ve personally seen two gold males , the vigor and branching surpassed a Tom hill haze female in the same garden . Not much to share but the growth was very impressive
