That said, all any of us knows right now is nothing. We know what the tube/radio is/are dishing out... And they admit they don't really know.
WikiLeaks says RT reports the 3-month-old conversion to Islam.
The family says he had no known affiliations.
Reports of losses at the tables (ranging from rumors of $10,000 up to $40,000) but they also say he owned two aircraft, so may or maybe not able to absorb such a hit.
For all any of us really knows, some whack job on a mission of what ever sort, thought the guy's room made for an excellent tactical perch, and took him out before any of this started.
As far as class III weapons ownership goes, in 31 states, $200, two passport photos, two sets of finger prints, and a local law enforcement signature (which wasn't technically mandated in the 1968 NFA), will get you a permit for almost any (transferable) class III weapon.
As of midnight, May 19, 1986, the home-building of class III select-fire weapons on a Federal Form 1, came to an end; by midnight that night, any transferable item that functioned as select-fire or full-auto, had to be 80% complete, and already registered with BATFE. BUT, those that were already transferable on a Form 4 continued to be available to anyone with the aforementioned criteria met.
Again, condolences to the families with lost loved ones, or whose loved ones lose function of their limbs. And especially to those who will spend -hours- not knowing, in that tormented limbo of trying to find out..
And a HUGE amount of respect to those who, rather than running, braved the firestorm, and tended to those who were hit around them. Average everyday individuals who saw a need, and answered it, with little heed to the bullets flying around them. Bless -those- people right off.

Every step you take outside your room at a Casino is taped. There should be plenty of shots of the perp before, during and after checkin. His bags clearly seen. Any and all comings and goings. Whoever else may have gone into the room. He was at the hotel for 2 nights three days. Did he leave? Where did he go? Did he meet anyone? Lots of questions. I don't trust easy answers anymore, from anyone.

also there are cameras everywhere, they should have footage of him coming into the airport or train station, interstate ect.
where i live cameras are everywhere, expressways are chock full of them, every gas station, store everywhere. when something like theft happens i have heard the cops say we need to review the traffic camera footage maybe we can get a licence plate number
