I hate counting seeds, so I installed SeedCounter on my phone. Works well! Woot!:woohoo:

It's meant for wheat I think, but should work on any kind of seeds.

A digital weighing scale would be ideal for weighing many seeds. I would weigh a known number, say ten or 100, and with that weight known, any quantity of seeds could be weighed, totaled up and translated into a number of seeds, using the known weight of ten or 100 seeds.

Those little scales are very accurate, and this method would give a very precise count, since most seeds of the same plant are uniform in size and weight.

Hammerhead got a seed counter and he loves it. Check with him for details. He posted it in Unclefishsticks thread but it's not going to be easy to find. That thread moves at several pages a day. I would just pm Hammer.

i'm old school, average the mass of the seed drill/cut a hole into a piece of wood appropriate for the measuring of say 25-30 ish (i don't do massive counts, i'll never get thru em).

Simple easy and cheap.
