Leaves cupping up, yellowing and dying new growth

Hey guys I’m having trouble with my plant outdoors. Grown in coco in a 100Litre pot. New growth last Sunday all of a sudden turned yellow and brown, curling and canoeing up, turning crusty and dying off. It’s happening to most of the new growth, worse in some places than others. It’s a very big plant it has been vegging for 6 months now outdoors. Was originally a reveg

Now that flowering is meant to start in a week or 2 this problem has started. It isn’t too hot, as my other plants next to it are fine, just not as big as this one. The bottom growth, and new shoots under the net are perfect and not damaged.

I use an Australian fertiliser Called powerfeed plant food, for tomatoes and vegetables.

It’s weird cause all the growth under the net, even new shoots are all fine? It’s just what’s above the net that’s affected. Mainly new or newest growth

my guess is root rot, let her dry out really really good., then top dress good compost before next watering. She's pretty big 100 Liter pot is not that big, she might be getting root-bound or starving. would root rot from over-watering a possibility^?

I don’t know, my other plant is almost tho big and it’s fine, same watering schedule and very draining soil.. I’m thinking to cut a big hole in one side of the pot and attatch another pot on the side of it with fresh soil so maybe the roots can stretch into it

And the pot isn’t drying out too fast at all as you’d expect from a rootbound plant

What's your PH, how often are you watering/feeding, what are the stats on these nutrients you're using?

i was having a terrible time in coco until i checked my runoff and found out i had lockout from salt buildup from a bad batch of coco. my plants looked AWFUL. i was about ready to chop them down and start over it was so bad. all it took was a good flush with 300ppm base nutes on two separate occasions about two days apart and then back to normal feeds after that.

water till runoff and check your ph and ppm. if either one is significantly different there is an indicator there.

It would be wise to do the spud test for root aphids or other soil dwelling pests. 1" cubes of raw potato laid on soil surface, soilside checked daily. Good luck. -granger

6 months vegging ??? WOW. Yes, your plant has serious root issues that only will be corrected by planting directly in the ground and letting the roots grow. That is a real large plant to have in such a little pot for 6 months, amazing that is still alive at all.
I have had similar on mother plants I kept for a long time.
