Concentrated Pistils

I collect the calyx's off the females until I have enough for a bowl and smoke them. It is by far the best tasting part of the plant. The inside of the calyx is just flush with some kind of resin.
After drying on my drying racks there are always piles of red pistils on the floor. I have tried smoking them and they are not very satisfying.
Using them for color??? Not a bad idea. I'll try that next time. I'll use them for red dye in my gummy bears.
