The direct link on these failed: link is truncated.
YouTube starts, then switches to a browser page announcing the error.

Guessing you cut the vidID rather than copying it before pasting it.
The good news is, you don’t need the direct link at all once you’ve put the vidID inside the YT tags.

Got it, thanks but what if I want a second way to view the vid, a separate tex link, do I need to add a whole link separately in order to do that?

The quoted bit below should be specific to your final question...guess I got carried away....

Here’s a link, the actual web address:

Here’s that link *as* a link (globe with chain button, above):
[ URL=https://youtu.be/OxibNlbn-f4"]https://youtu.be/OxibNlbn-f4[/URL]

Notice that the address appears twice, as the url, and then as the descriptive text.

Here’s the same, with the second copy of the url changed to descriptive text: The part in blue is the *actual* link, the part in red is the description.
