Hi GrowDoc,
I am looking for a doctor with whom I can discuss using medical marijuana for my health problems. I called a number of HuisArts (GPs) in Amsterdam and they all say they "don't do this". It is weird given that it is legal and a government agency distributes it to pharmacies.
Would you be able to help me? I really don't care where in Holland the doctor is as the usual medication that I take has very serious side effects and I really need another solution.

CBD oil, which can be very beneficial in treating epilepsy, is available without a prescription. de Tuinen, a health food store sells it, as does coffeeshop Katsu.

After sending an email this is the response that i got in 12hrs.
In order for Dr. Cambridge to be able to prescribe medical marijuana, you need to have the advice from the specialists who you visit in your own country stating that this medication is necessary, because other regular prescribed medication , is not effective enough.. Also you need to have the papers to travel with it. *We can't prescribe medical cannabis in case of psychiatric problems!
If it is prescribed here, it takes 2 days for the pharmacy to fill your prescription ... they need to order it.

I contacted my former huisartsen, J. van Iterson, on the Gerrit van der Veen Straat in Amsterdam, and he says that he doesn't know of any huisartsen that prescribe.... so you have broken thru the veils of secrecy here!!!
He is available for treating tourists regular ailments, and speaks many languages.
