Looking great! Hopefully the stretch ends before it overgrows your space!

Thanks. :thank you:

I don't mind if I have to top her.
The last big I tried to pinch and bend the top over (whatever that's called. lol) and it didn't work too great for me.

I didn't like how it keeps growing after doing it because you have to judge when to start doing it and then the top of the main cola it bent over.

I ended up breaking the top off by accident anyway.

When I did top it a different time, the plant completely stopped growing. I could cut the top off at about 3" from the lights and it wouldn't grow any taller.
I know that I'm wasting the very best of the plant by cutting off the top of the main cola, but that doesn't bother me because I've got lots of other colas and the main cola did fill in really nice and didn't end up with a square topped head.

... But those are crappy instruments, se we may never know for sure.

Yeah, that's why I had stopped using them.
I'd just have one for reference.
I think the temperature readings are close, but the RH readings are almost erroneous.

I just try to watch the plant but I'll try to take some readings for my next grow for reference.

Things are working great right now and I don't really know why. Lol

.., maybe they are in a situation where too low vpd stops them from transpiring. Saturated air won't take more humidity from the leaves...

That could be the case but I figure if she recovers every day then she shouldn't "suffocate" during the night.

I figure less big fan leaves should help with all that too.

If she had no fan leaves, the sleepiness may not show or at least not as much.

I took more fan leaves off.

I opened up the bottom so that the bottom branches don't turn into larf.

I have enough for a small salad. Lol

With as much side lighting as you have I don't think that's a problem, tho. So maybe don't overdo it. I mean you kinda did too much defoliation by my standards, already.

Yeah, I'm done with that. At least for now. lol
That's the way I've always done it.

I figure that with all the side lights, the light can get to the smaller leaves closer to the flowers.

I figure that she's got plenty of light and smaller leaves for every thing she needs.

I may remove some more leaves towards the bottom, but not for a while.

These two little branches were trying to push up through the big fan leaves above them.
They were curling under and were quite pale.
They've already straightened up and are reaching for the light.

Things still look kinda crowded at different spots.
I don't want my flowers and their little leaves to be shaded and looking pale.

Things might open up as she stretches, but I don't know how much that will happen towards the bottom.

The lights are at 8.3 amps total now.

Click image for larger version Name:	20211204_090459.jpg Views:	0 Size:	66.9 KB ID:	18006634

EDIT:
The meter reading 1.34 amps is the one going to the four 2 foot 5000k ceiling strips.

The 2.50 amps is the 12 5000k strips on the walls.

The 2.65 amps, is the 12 3500k
strips on the left wall and on the door.

The 1.87 amps, is the 12 3500k
strips on the right wall and back wall.

So the 2.65 and 1.87 should read the same number.

I noticed that my plant was leaning a bit and just realized that she was leaning towards the back right to get to the light.

I'll keep turning the planter so she grows straight.

I decided to do an experiment and wiped nute solution on a leaf that I intend to remove...

The leaf must have angled hairs on it.
The Q-Tip would catch on the leaf going this way.
I could grab onto the leaf and lift it.

The other way it just rolls right off.

We can be off topic here...

In my experience if they get discoloured and are not at least slightly brown ar dried at the tip in 1-2 days after, it's for sure mg. But most burns happen almost instantly. I think it also depends on plant metabolism. I don't feed much at a time and certainly no big or fast swings, but usually by the time I notice tips have a problem, it's already clear if it's nuteburn or not.
Sorry for the offtopic, op! If you need me to clean this side discussion, just say.

That's what I found.
The yellowing happened fast but went away quickly.

My plant was running dry...
I filled it up.

I was pinching off the larf touching the soil, but saw this...

I'll wait until she moves up the plant..

"..But most burns happen almost instantly."

Yes,.. the times that I remmber noticing it was just after starting nutes, or increasing them..

That's when I try to pay more attention.
(sober up, LITFA, pay attention, .. all that stuff. lol)

I was hesitating about turning the planter because I can't see the bobber and I didn't want to have her run dry,..

Click image for larger version Name:	20211204_194452.jpg Views:	0 Size:	131.1 KB ID:	18007017

But she needs water almost every day now, so I don't think that I'll forget to check on it.

More current pictures...
I do have some burnt leaf tips...

Or deficient? Either way, it's not enough to worry about. Especially if you treat it the wrong way and make it worse.
