Update: she is still alive and healthy. This new years for me is gunna be a pure blessing because that means that she lived another year. She's getting way up there in age.

My dogs are my whole world.

Never heard either a dog getting meningitis, but what kind of meningitis did your dog get? For humans you have bacterial, virus or fungal meningitis. Got bacterial meningitis 50 years ago, that's why my curiosity.
