I have a couple strains that make leaves of 9 but I don't think I'v ever seen more than that :ying:

I had a Kali Mist back in 02 that would grow 13+ fingered leaves... They were like the size of a record

Will get some pics for you later today.

Shiva Skunk (2002) 13+, they don't still do it as the Shiva Skunk they sell now isn't even the same strain!

Healthy Swt's can make 11 fronders one of my males had them when he was in a solo cup and a few of the females had 11 frond leafs as well. They sure are pretty and when plants get big they can make 13 fronders even more likely outdoors under the sunshine :)

Count the fronds on the top leaf of this supercropped one shown below, it was a real stretcher early in flowering (like SPG) and this was the most candy sweet pink grapefruity aroma mother. She had several 11 frond leafs on her in a 3 gallon size smartpot. :canabis:

hello friends
this is a very interesting thread
I think the American sativas old school
have 11 or more fingered leaves,
in the nineties when there was still Mexican landraces
I met a plant variety of
state of Jalisco
it was 15 fingered leaves, the others were 13 fingered leaves
but it was very impressive to see,
I'm growing the original panama 1974 and some plants have 11 fingered leaves.

thanks for posting everyone

elchischas - I'm very intrigued by old school genetics, I'v heard old timers talking about strains of old having leaves of 15! Very thin fingered plants, I'd love to play with '74 panama, the pics of jahgreenlabel's are insane.

Sour bubble, one actually grew a few 13 finger leaves into flowering. Here are some of the 11.

I think a lot also has to do with the health of the plant. I've noticed light shocked plants moving from in to outdoors can grow 1 finger leaves but still look green and somewhat healthy.

Hi all..
hey mummycat the leaf has a few years
because you can still find the Mexican landraces,
and yes you 're right mummycat, the Raco s leaf is of the pure afghani deep chunk.

leaf of the double panama from cannabiogen: panama 1979 x panama red air.

off topic: the opposite
This lebanese girl from seeds picked in the Bekaa Valley in 2005 and grown in a small pot (3 liters) had a max of 3 blades per leaf from the beginning :D
