Not really enjoying the switch from joints to vaping

I encourage you to stick to vaping. Your lungs of the future will thank you.

You can make up for the lesser buzz from vaping by consuming more vapor or edibles made with the cannabis saved from vaping. :)
Agreed. Put most of the load on edibles. If you make your own, you'll know exactly how much it takes to achieve each desired result/level of high. Take your lungs out of it. Then, when you want a quicker onset or just a little bump, vape. We've been doing this for years and it works great. I can still feel some lung distress when vaping, but it is nothing like smoking.

Vaping is like granny porn, it's not for everybody.

I too bought a Volcano back in the day, but never got the hang of vaping so it mostly collected dust until I sold it.

Nothing wrong with Volcano, or vaporizers, but to each his own.

The Volcano is way more efficient anyhow.
Not here. Before buying my first vape, a Volcano, i read many times how vaping supposedly helps you save weed but i think for me the consumptions was about the same. The reason could be that because i didn't get the same effect from vaping as from smoking, it made me do bigger sessions.

The effect from vaping might not be too different to smoking if you're using sativa-leaning weed, but indica-weed seems to be missing alot of stuff when vaped.

I think this in mainly a fault in the pure convection vapes, although my log vapes don't seem to suffer from it. Hybrids provide more satisfying vapor in a lot of ways. I think this is really where the VapCap shines –*it allowed for a conduction heavy hybrid to be used on demand instead of taking 10 minutes to roast a bowl.

True. Many people won't have time or money to buy a good vaporizer or make/use edibles. If you do combine those two your use or grams/day will go way down. You'll get higher with less, able to use more without harmful side effects. Joints burn the most into the atmosphere.

Try turning your Pax up to the highest setting. I like to vape but I like mine to where I can see the vapor as I exhale.

One of the biggest complaints I hear is "I feel like I am not getting a hit." Then I look and people have it on the lowest setting.

I love vaping.. When I get a good vape hit it tastes so nice, it is all the good stuff without the leaf material. But when I take a draw off someones vape at a low setting I totally get the feeling that I am not getting a hit and it leaves me feeling unsatisfied.

Since switching to a vape several years ago I have not looked back, I can also say the same about my lungs. I get up in the morning now with out non stop coughing and spitting up crap.

I smoked a J recently and it was like sucking on a ashtray from a 1980s Datsun car, was bloody disgusting. I do own several desktops and portables, I am pleased to state I have converted 4 people to vapes and they have all thanked me, we are all around the same age and have been smoking for 25 plus years.

If monoterpenes burn off quickly and sesquterpenes slowly wouldn't it make sense that having a good balance of the two taste best vaped? From what I undestand monoterpenes are usually only enjoyed by the first one putting heat on it. So good for one hitters. Bad for joints or any technique that heats it all at once?

The first time I Volcano'd, it was Blueberry Kush on a Volcano.

Is that Vaping ?

It should have been a great buzz. I knew it was good pot. Didn't feel anything, but I knew the guy I was smoking with was loving his Volcano smoke.

I am almost 100% vape now, after a year or so. For the first time in my life, I don't wheeze at night.

I have learned to enjoy vaping more than smoking. Never thought that would happen. 2 packs a day cigs for 40 years. Quit those almost a year ago. Then, I smoked 20 joints a day to make up for it.

Now, for tabletop it's the E-nano from Epic Vape and home portable is the Arizer Solo. Take out portable is the Arizer ArGo. The Fury2 is also a great portable for microdose people.

Stuff like the Arizer Extreme Q and the Volcano are fucking incredible for parties or multi-people use.

I never thought I would say this either but vaping tastes way way better to me than smoking, now.

Vapes can be cheap. The VapCaps are not terribly expensive. And you can make your own Vaponic for a couple dollars. I bought some test tubes and some glass and made a couple dozen Vaponic copies and gave them all to friends.

The problem with butane vapes is if you are in an illegal state, everyone thinks you are striking crack. Fucking white trash hillbillies where I live have no clue about vapes, much less butane vapes. They just point and scream, "Crackhead, crackhead", LMAO

However, I must say, the absolute finest taste in cannabis comes from an all glass flame heated vape. I don't believe you'll ever taste cannabis better than from a Vaponic. Just too damn much trouble for me.

I just counted over 100 vapes, addys and mods in my vape collection. LOL Fucking manic spenders keeping this nation's economy alive. LOL

Couple of my home made Vaponic vapes. All under a few dollars. Water adapters or just a stem. Like playing lego with glass once you figure the program. I used glass straws. I used those BG Chillum glass one-hitters. Mostly stuff I had laying around. Add an appropriately sized test tube and a butane lighter and.... bingo.

1) The original Arizer Solo

2) PVHE GonG 18mm Shorty Turbo (https://www.planetvape.ca/pvhegong-high-efficiency-gong.html)

3) Large Hydratube 18mm (https://ineedhemp.com/product/large-hydratube-attachment-v3-donut-atomizer/)

The gong holds .1 gram. Set the solo to 6 or 7 and take 1 big hit per load. Reload as needed. This method provides the best taste, clouds, and high for me. Very Efficient. Enjoy!

That's actually an affordable set up right there. I have a Solo and have been thinking about getting something like that.

I purchased the Pax 2 vaporizer last week, which is quite a bit of money out of my monthly budget for me and to be honest I'm not really enjoying it.

I find the taste less than smoking and it takes me a while to get high.

I usually smoke every day which I know is bad for me and it was health reasons that pushed me to make the switch?

If you just inhale once, and use a water pipe to smoke it, it has minimal impact on your lungs.

Then in order to get high, it's good to be primo bud.

I had to lay off completely for a few weeks, which was strange because I had a pretty well entrenched wake & Bake habit.

The last few days I've been smoking twice a day. One of the things I like about that is, one pipe cleaning lasts a LONG time.

If you're not getting high from the smoke, one option is to limit yourself to one hit.

Maybe you can find some bud where one hit is just plain enough.

I know some of those pictures in the Frosty Bud section would be properly one hit. (smoked or probably vaped)

Once you go PAX you never go bax. Heh, totally untrue, I love my joints still. But, I have both the pax 2 and 3. The 3 has an oven for rosin, which I use all the time. If I put a big glob in there, it will go round and round until everyone is happy.

Flavor (of dry flower) on low setting is fantastic, but you have to dial up the temp to get really high. I know this statement won't be popular with the younger crowd, but I also hold my hits a bit longer with vapes (hey, we lifetime tokers have huge lungs!).

There is definitely more of a creeper effect with the PAX. But, on the flip side, it's possible to get considerably higher than by burning flower, if you have patience and get the hang of it.

I totally agree with this. I've been smoking about 30 years now and I'm a heavier than average smoker. Something's got to give. After a year of playing around with my butter recipe I've got a product I'm really happy with. To be quite honest once you get to a certain level of immunity you can only get so high by smoking. I find edibles to be far more effective than using your lungs. The only downside is I love that taste from smoking probably always will so I still smoke but it has cut down the amount I smoke a lot.
