Thought I would put up a SOA discussion Thread...since it is starting to distract from the Breaking Bad Thread--:tiphat:

Can't believe they killed Opie!!

Oh, and IRL...Half Sack died...again--
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Johnny Lewis, an actor who played Kip "Half Sack" Epps on the cable TV show "Sons of Anarchy," has fallen to his death after apparently beating to death his elderly landlady at a hillside home, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office on Thursday identified the bodies as those of Lewis, 28, and Catherine Davis, 81.
Coroner's Watch Cmdr. Larry Deitz said he could not identify Lewis as being the actor. But the name and date of birth match, and both victims lived at the same address.
The causes of their deaths were unknown pending autopsies.
Neighbors called police Wednesday morning to report a woman screaming and three men fighting.
Officers went to a home in the Los Feliz area near Hollywood and found the body of a woman in the driveway, Sgt. Frank Preciado told the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/Or6s0E ). Investigators believe she was struck or beaten.
The body of the suspected killer, who may have rented a room from the woman, was found about six feet from a wall, Preciado said.
The man climbed a wall and fought with a housepainter at a neighboring home, returned to the woman's home and climbed the wall again to fight with the painter and the owner of the second house, Preciado said.
The man apparently fell while trying to scale the wall again, Preciado said.
The men who fought with him were treated at the scene for minor injuries, he said.
Jonathan Kendrick Lewis had a career spanning more than a decade, mainly in small roles. He played Ricky in the 2007 movie "AVPR: Aliens vs Predator — Requiem" and was Dennis 'Chili' Childress for two seasons on TV's "The O.C." He played Epps on FX's "Sons of Anarchy" in 2008 and 2009 episodes.

So whats up with Jimmy Smits? He's all nice and chummy now but just wait...I bet he turns against the sons. Killing Opie was a great twist...can't wait till that jail cop gets his...

That sucked about Opie, the guy never got his payback on Tig. Although seeing Tig having to watch one of his daughters burned to death was pretty fuckin' brutal.

Yeah, I figured out Opie was the one to die after the first time that guard came and talked to them in SEG. I could see it in his body, the way he was preparing himself to make the decision. He has been a lost soul since Donna was murdered. He wanted to die protecting the MC, even though the Club has taken everything from him. He needed to protect his kids and end all the spillage which occurs when you are in SAMCRO.

I though this last episode was well written and developed. On par with some Sopranos writing.

That episode really shatters a hole in SAMCRO's ranks, along with Juice getting shot in the stomach. Hope this season redeems itself and makes up for the silliness of the 2nd season.

Looked up at the TV, and Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad is on Colbert Report tonight. seems like a pretty chill dude.

That Guard will be in a future episode...for sure!!
I think that Tara saying her husband would kill Gemma... then Gemma beating that girl...might be a prelude to her and Clay getting together enough for a Coup attempt!!

That wasn't Juice, I had to go back and look to make sure. My buddy thought the same thing. It was one of the homie henchmen.

I think Jackson is plotting on Pope now.

Really sucks about Opie getting clubbed to death :nono:
I liked his character alot and all of his loose ends with Clay and Tig will be taken care of by Jax, and seeing Opie die like that is going to punish him till he takes out Pope, that prison guard and Clay and Tig
It's going to get interesting :D

Gemma? damn, that meddling bitch is worse than Walter's Wife.

Ya, Jax's character is very crafty, I bet he is a great Texas Holdem Player.

Holy Shit, the Actor who played Half-Sac, Johnny Lewis murdered his 81 year old landlady and then died from a fall, 16 days ago, on Wed. 12th. He had been doing tons of hard drugs and was incarcerated several times over the past few months.

been enjoying this series too. love the idea for a story. very sad to see Ope die, he brained three guys before they pinned him down at least. i don't think Trig is such a bad guy, he was following orders when he was trying to kill Ope and killed the wife instead. but yeah he will probably pay the price, at least for his killing of Popes daughter, even if it was accidental. it's a really cool name for a motorbike club the sons of anarchy. Pope should have been happy with burning Trigs daughter in front of him imo. that was high enough a price. his daughter didn't suffer like he made Trigs daughter suffer, he will get his own lol.

Very sad episode tonight, Opie was a great character and will be missed by all
And this new deal with Nero will be interesting to see where Jax and him end up dealing porno star pussy to the masses :D
I have a feeling that Nero won't be a permanent character in the series
:smoke out:
