on another note, i thought we should strive for large, thick roots, as opposed to many "hairy" ones? anyway, beautiful.

Are those 5gal buckets with 10" net pots?
At what stage are those plants attached to those great-looking roots?
hey ism2-
yes they are 5 gallon buckets and 10" or 8" (don't remember which) net pots. the hole in the bucket lid is 2". I keep the hole small so as to create a more humid environment between water level and bucket lid. it's a bio-bucket system so my medium of choice is red and black lava rocks. those pics are all from different grows and I am thinking mostly during mid flower, for the most part. if you go through my albums you can figure out what stage they were probably in at pic time...
