Next experiment: different pot shape affects on root growth.
Didn't think they'd be so visible but roots hit the bottom of a 2l in no time, less than a day after transplant from solo cup. Fastest growing by far, drinks the most water. I'm growing in pvcppipes from now on!
I wonder how container shape affects plant growth? The rounded bits seem to shoot the roots back upwards more quickly rather than letting them circle for so long.
