Things are getting busy.

Here's a peek at the first preparations for this years OD
Thai/Brazillan crosses from KC Brains (33 & TNR) stock and Blueberry male x's
Also some Blueberry Nebula Diesel
Pineapple TrainW
Pineapple Thai

Hole preparation
irrigation
Manipulation
Predator Defenses
Mass pruning to flower only colas
and all that fun stuff through the year still to come!

So on to this year...

Rapid rooter plugs and Clonex
9 days under a 15watt plant light t10
Heater mat, rack- no thermostat
First 24 hrs in a jar with superthrive and h20
lightly bruise stem with razor, dip, slide into pre-poked with a nail hole
let rest 24 hrs indirect light, vents closed
48-72hrs vents closed
then vents wide open
watered with Earth juice's Root Stock
for presoak and redip day 5 or so

The jar in the upper right corner is "Mite Juice"

1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 drops dish detergent ( I use AN's Wet Betty)
1/4 Teaspoon Epsom Salts

Take a cup of very hot water and desolve the epsom salts,take rest of ingredients and place in a clean 2 liter bottle and let work out. Add epsom solution. Add water to fill to 48ozs(3/4 full).Shake well.

TO USE: Cover soil/medium with plastic,with lights off mist plant all over,especialy under leaves,
Wait 20 mins,then spritz off with clean fresh water shaking as much water off plant as you can.
The fresh water spritz rinse will remove the solution along with the desolved remains of the mites and their eggs.

Full plant dip, let set sideways so it doesnt drip on roots

Straining is listed above

Of course thats dry, how else does one weigh ganja?

That sweetheart is about 80 lbs wet if not more, EASILY

To avoid the "Dude, I wish I saw this earlier"
I'll post how we put the plot together

Basically the holes are 4x4, about 18" deep
Filled with Worm farm premium compost soil mix
A thorough laying of 1/4" dripper hose, the kind that leaks
and a topping of alfalfa

The posts have a 2 ft perpendicular piece screwed to the bottom for support before being burried

the drip line is better UNDER the alfalfa

due to gophers,
all the holes are getting sidewalls with a netting underneath to let roots through, gophers turn away

native soil is turned as deep as possible before topping w compost
