day 41

day 41

couple of phenos here smell like real bazooka joe.
the others less sweet
flushed the big girls today with brer rabbit molasses water and will keep that up for 10 more days, then just water til day whatever.

transplanted the little girls into larger containers with perlite bottom, coir and worm castings upper.
watered w/half strength grow nutes.
changed veg bulb to 42w for what it's worth.
as soon as the 4rth node shows to make an easy cut, these girls get topped.

can't wait to see my first grapefruit run in three years? I can't remember the last time we had grapefruit! been a long, long, time.

:thank you:

Hi Everyone!

Been awhile but I wanted to have something good to show you.

Grapefruit stretch is over and they're packing on the weight now. Had some heat problems beacuse of the stretch - had to re-arrange the fans and crank the outtake some more.
I can see these are going to be big yielders.
One Grapefruit is 41 day old and is really resining up. Distinctive aroma too.

Started a new CH9 run yesterday - to finish up Sept 10 when I leave on vacation. These girls practically jumped out of their shells!
As always good genetics and nice fresh beans from CH9.

Grapefruit Day 42

:blowbubbles:

These kolas are so heavy the plant's having trouble holding them up!
I am very pleased with this crop. Glad I bought enough of these beans to last for awhile. This crop is coming around faster than expected. The forecast is clear to partly cloudy at only 42 days!

Hi Everyone!

Vacation's over.
Time to get back to work!

Box is all refurbished with new coat of paint, new glass, improved (hopefully) ductwork and shelving.

Looking for a Christmas harvest of:

3 Iced Grapefruit (Female Seeds)
3 Afgani Milk (CH9)

Still got plenty of grapefruit to tide me over.

Hope all is well.

Bestregards

:thank you:

Here they are!
Running some heat tests and coming up short.
Running about 12 above ambient.
Might have to go to LEDs, but before I spend $500 on new light, spent $5 on extra sheet of glass. We'll see.

Babies doing fine!
