Nevada County

And the challenge has been denied. Measure 12 will be on the June 7 ballot with the current ambiguous writing. It has been brought to my attention that even if Measure W passes, as written in the bill, cultivation will only be allowed if it is also legal under federal law.

On another note, will anyone here be attending this, even though cultivation in nevada county may become a thing of the past?

I do not not think Cannabis Cultivation in Nevada County is going to slow down ...

Before 60% was black market sales ... I just see legal growers leaving or switching over to black market sales ...

The sheriff can then feel like he is busy and make $$$ off of fining and harassing growers ... They usually cite about 10% of the outdoor growers and maybe actually visit 1-2% ...

I am glad you are thinking cultivation will not stop or slow. I have been at it for so long that it has become a large part of who I am. I want there to be a place for boutique cultivation and sales as well as medical.

‪#‎AUMA‬ is well on its way to the ballot but still needs ~200,000 signatures. If you haven't signed yet, go for it:

Do not sign the AUMA it's Prohibition 2.0 ... #CCHI2016 or bust ...

I see wet and dry counties ... Both will have there tax

Legal counties will be taxed legally ... and the product will stay in Cali

No permit in a Legal County ... They are coming for you ...

Banned County = Fines / Raid Tax

One of my favorite Sierra areas to explore when I lived in Reno back in the late 1980's.

I hope this doesn't become another issue where the government finds a way to get us all attacking each other. med vs rec, licensed vs non licensed, county vs county, etc.

What are peoples feeling about Hezekiah Allen? I went to the "come into the light" meeting in December, but it felt pointless, the information was vague and all I got from it was how wonderful the people at the Franchise Board are.

I volunteer for ASA as they seem to get more done up here ... We just had our monthly meeting and have decided mailers rather than yard signs and newspaper ads may be the most effective as a start this year ...

The sheriff sticks to his bullshit figures

"Twelve plants grown indoors under 1200w could provide, based on our experience, half to 1 pound of marijuana per plant. Additionally, a grower in an indoor environment could grow between three to four crops per year, and as such, anticipate between 18 and 48 pounds of marijuana over the course of the year."

You know what I have to give a shout out to Jonathan Collier of the CGA-NC if he was in charge of the Cal Growers statewide instead of HEZ we would be in good shape ... He slaughtered Dan Miller and stood up for patients like a man at the debate ...
