Newbie soil mix

So I'm doing my first outdoor organic grow. I'm on the equator in Africa. I don't have access to a lot of materials. Basically, it's Coco coir, rice hulls, compost, sheep and goat manure, neam meal, oyster meal, soy meal, cornmeal, and liquid seaweed. My question is, is this enough for a decent soil mix and any ideas of ratios? Thanks

Hey SpringTigra,
Depending on the soil you’re growing in you may only need compost and a few other amendments. I’m assuming, given your location, you’ll be growing long flowering sativas, outdoors and these plants feed in a totally different way to indicas.
Maybe head over to the “Ace Seeds” thread and ask over there; there’s some great people who specialise in growing sativas like SolarLogos and you may be lucky enough to get an answer from Dubi directly.
I hope this helps,
Cheers,
40.

CC's mix works for me. Adjust it for what you have available like using Coir instead of peat. I usually add some clay and sand as well. Get those trace minerals in there. Make sure it holds both water and air.

I also suggest reading up on compost tea. The real gold is in your compost. Access to worms? Vermicompost is the way to go imo. Feed them and they feed your plants. Oh and don't forget some biochar. It is easy to make if you can't source it.

I'll be growing in pots making my own mix, my base will be coco, compost, goat/sheep manure and rice hulls probably equal amounts of each, then mix gypsum, neem meal, grab meal, soy meal, oyster meal. I can make my own bone meal if need be. I'll be growing sativa dominant plants from ace seeds. I know Sativa's need less fert in general
