It's been almost 50 days since she was last seen.

Ginsburg's absence from the bench - and now her late-January event cancellation, has stoked rumors over social media that the oldest Supreme Court Justice is actually dead, with doubters demanding proof-of-life under hashtags such as #WeekendAtRuths, a reference to the popular 1989 film Weekend At Bernie's.

It's looking like Trump is gonna get a third pick.

I say he should replace her with another woman.

Get ready for Amy Coney Barrett !

Let's hope so. At this point...after her cancer surgery and reported phenomena...you gotta wonder just how much more energy she has left to decide the fate of America's most pertinent decisions. Maybe she should go away and retire...knit pink hats or something.

Thank goodness she made it !

WASHINGTON (AP) — Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is making her first public appearance since undergoing lung cancer surgery in December.

The 85-year-old Ginsburg is attending a concert at a museum a few blocks from the White House that is being given by her daughter-in-law and other musicians. Patrice Michaels is married to Ginsburg’s son, James. Michaels is a soprano and composer.

The concert is dedicated to Ginsburg’s life in the law.

Ginsburg had surgery in New York on Dec. 21. She missed arguments at the court in January, her first illness-related absence in more than 25 years as a justice.

She has been recuperating at her home in Washington since late December.

Ginsburg had two previous bouts with cancer. She had colorectal cancer in 1999 and pancreatic cancer in 2009.

You guys aren't talking about this?:

"Ginsburg rushed from local hospital to Johns Hopkins. Released and is A-ok"

riiiiiight, sure she is.

Does Johns Hopkins specialize in fever and chills? Strange that your standard run of the mill (state of the art suburban cathedral to the medical arts) hospital couldn't treat her.

She had her chance to hand her seat to another left leaning justice with Obama but let her own pride stand in the way. You have her to thank when Mr. T flips the court.

She envisioned a girl power moment where she'd swear hillary in as 45th and then tender her resignation to the most powerful woman in the world. She's always had poor vision...

You lefty's need to brace yourselves, it's coming (keep your blanky's handy, pacifier and safe space optional) I expect the rabbit frothing at the mouth TDS (Trump derangement syndrome) will go completely supernova (more so than normal) and even more violent as soon as her passing is reported.

It'll hurt even more knowing that Trump will nominate someone young and healthy, who'll sit for an easy 30yrs. Obese Kagan and Sotomayor, they ain't gonna last long. Sotomayor is also a diabetic who makes periodic trips to the hospital as is.
