does anyone know about my 43's? i know they are not copper but somone stated somthing about steel ones, they might be steel im not sure.

43 they came out with steel pennies, had to do with the war effort.

In 44....they made very few steel pennies on accident...now those can go for high five digits, to six digits. But there are tons of fakes of course.

Your 43s are worth very little, maybe 99 cents on ebay? Those are wheat pennies, and I think they are cool just cause its a war era.

All else fails and you can't google, go to ebay and type in what you got. You can see realized auction results, that will tell you a lot.

If they are not steel, its copper hoard. Any penny 80 on down, its majority copper. I leave out 81, cause there it gets confusing.

Almost completed my Carson City mint, Morgan silver dollar set.

I also, specifically collect Toned coins. And I am trying to complete the color wheel with toned wheat pennies ( naturally toned coins ) I have a template made that will go from front to end in the color spectrum, its sick lol. I am focusing on two colors at a time, blues and greens first.

Here are some toners from our neighbors

I read where most of our money tested positive for drugs.
I wonder if you realize that applies to coins too!lol!
I use a roll of nickles & a piece of plumbing pipe to make 'Nickle Pucks' from bubble hash.
Look close you can see Jeffersons Monticello!:tiphat:

1g nickle

1g nickle

Thanks
I weighed out 1g of hash between each nickle. I can press about 5 at a time with the pipe I have. Each nickle is 1g of hash.
People love them as gifts. They are great 'stocking stuffers' at xmas time!lol!
As much fun to make as they are to use!

whooops.

i was incorrect. thats just a 1$ silver bullion coin.

the 1920s liberty standing quarter is soo worn, i cannot see a date. had to do some research to figure out it was from the 1920s.

What up trich.

I put the CC set aside for a bit, cause ive been deep into Roman/Athens type coins.
This is a sweet site I use to navigate between the types I like.
http://www.forumancientcoins.com/

The only way for me to deal with what coins to buy is choosing a theme and going deep as I can lol. For Greek I choose different mints they had on various islands. I could go deeper into this but ill hold short unless there's interest in Ancients. I choose these specific mints because I love the ocean and they have various Dolphins/turtles, specific artists. etc.
Ill cut it short there lol.

Romans, I chose Emperors I had interest in, mainly early Rome of course. Funny thing is you can relate of a fucking butt load in their history to ours now. Certain emperors later on started cutting the silver out of their monies, making it less valuable, cause huge inflation, bread and circus etc etc...
I enjoy collecting coins with Marc Antony on them. He is one of my favorite characters. Slayed the broads, loved the wine and was a good commander.

Again being a tad vague, need to go back to jamming on my bass haha. But when I read and research the mid to later emperors, oi its scary. I see alot of full circles in our current history lol.
