I remember the donuts at school, the size of a small side plate, 2 inches thick, topped with chocolate, and fried in the same grease as the fish fingers, the chips, the chicken nuggets and the onion rings.

Is Voodoo the place that featured on "Man Vs Food", they serve the bacon donut cheeseburger if I remember correctly, although they did a full donut as the bun, not just the top. Man I want that donut burger.

Self explanatory really, take a small single serving pie, of the type served in Fish and chip shops in the UK (Pukka pies, Sandersons pies), take a soft white bread roll slightly larger than the pie, butter the roll, add condiment if you wish, and tuck in.

My preferred pie is Chicken and Mushroom, but I will substitute it with a Steak (not steak and kidney :puke:) pie if required.
It must be 20 years since I had a pie sandwich. I got the idea when I saw my dads mate at work in the lorry yard doing it. Blew some minds at school i can tell ya.

KRISPY KREME ORIGINAL GLAZED DOUGHNUT

Serving size 1 doughnut (52 grams)

Me? I love love love beignets. Ain't nothin' better'n a beignet completely snowed under with powdered sugar and a good, STRONG cuppa coffee to go with it. NOTHIN' LIKE.

That's all well and good, but life is for enjoying. I saw a quote somewhere, I can't remember who by. It went something like....

Another place in the U.S. is in Washington State, a city called Blaine (last inhabited city before Canada-a few years back), A bakery called Three Sisters, if it is still there. don't think they are, can't google it.

kolah - I'm not exactly sure why you clicked on the thread, but just in case it was to warn people of dangerous ingredients then let me put your worry to rest... at least as far as my health is concerned anyway.

I live in the US.

I smoke cigarettes.

I breathe smog.

I eat GMO whether or not I want to.

I inhale traffic exhaust.

We did extensive nuclear testing that polluted radioactive particles high into the atmosphere that are still circling the globe.

I do not want to live to be a hundred years old wishing I would have caught something far before then that would take me away from such a world.

I choose bacon and tobacco.

To choose my own way out in this evil world is a gift of choice.

Doughnuts are good.
