Well, my new job as 'fluffer' for two Flo males is going well - here's some hot shots from tonight's boy-on-boy action. This is my first deliberate breeding attempt, and I aim to cross these with quite a few things, documented here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=37151

I've quite a raft of things to cross both of them with now - I'd rather narrow it down to one male, as it will add complication, but for time's sake, I'll pollinate everything, and then just grow out the seeds from the strain I'm most familiar with - that way at least, I can tell what influence the two Flos had. If they're identical, I can dump one lot entirely, but if not, then I'll have a lot of work to do!
But the Flo is so good I'm happy to use this as my male source to go with everything else. Most of the females I have are listed in other threads, so I won't describe them all in detail. So, from the top, I have lined up for crossing:

2 Flo phenos (indica-dom and sativa-dom - Dutch Passion)
CrissCross (local sativa-dom hybrid)
Mystery strain (either NL#5 X Haze or some diesel/kush offshoot)
NL#5 X Big Bud (Nirvana)
G13 (unknown origin, but very lemon/lime/grapefruit)
Malawi Gold (Seedsman)
Skunk #1 (Seedsman)
Jamaican (clone from a seed-parent brought back from Ja last year)

That should give me a whole bunch of new Flo F2 seeds, and enough hybrids to last me a lifetime of breeding - if I can be bothered!

Well, I was referring more to its use in the porn industry than the seed industry. Although I guess you could extend the pun even further...:)

love the pics.. truely inspirational flo's of both sexes you have. this project sounds great!

mine are just starting to come along now.. waiting on preflowers on the 8 flo's that germed. one of the plants smells especially nice when given a little rub.. hoping that ones a girl :)

check out my little start up of a grow diary if you wish EM.. i bet it'll help to have you around when my selection time comes! i may not have enough space to test flower all the girls if i end up with a good ratio of m/f.. if you think you're tight on space!

Seedy - that's a very nice set-up you've got there - very good use of little space! My stems all have a great smell - not skunky as such at all, more like some kind of fruit. This strain has me hooked - I'm trying to smoke the more sedate ones in the evening, but I keep going back and firing up another Flo and then off I go again...jabber...:)

It's viable stuff too - I just knocked up two girls with it ten days ago and they're both pregnant and swelling fast! I did Seedsman Original Skunk#1 and Malawi Gold, and I'll do my two Flo females next weekend at four weeks. Then I'm freezing the rest until I can grow out some clones of all my other mothers for crossing.

Although.... I'd probably go back & photoshop those photos to schmear out your perfectly clear up close index finger prints...even if you're not a career criminal you might have been index finger printed for a drivers licence...

Romulator - heh - thanks for the concern.
But I live in the relatively free republic (in my head anyway) of England, where we don't get fingerprinted (generally) until we've done something wrong - and I haven't yet! Also I don't drive - at all. I've never had even one driving lesson, so they won't get me there. I'm 'officially' an artist, and as someone told me once, "artists don't drive, they're driven"...:)

I have fretted a little about posting pics etc. but I try and keep it discrete. Might start wearing gloves or something...:)
