Cool on the goo! DId ya taste it? Bet it's just like the bud smells and sweet! My Tw bx2 had the same resin/sap drops in the buds like that . It tasted amazing!

I've had it before aswell and after research and also taste test what I came to find is something called Guttation, and what your seeing is a sap exudate.... At night, transpiration usually does not occur because most plants have their stomata closed. When there is a high soil moisture level, water will enter plant roots, because the water potential of the roots is lower than in the soil solution. The water will accumulate in the plant, creating a slight root pressure. The root pressure forces some water to exude (most oftenly) through special leaf tips or edge structures, hydathodes, forming drops. Root pressure provides the impetus for this flow, rather than transpirational ascent. This sap exudate can be clear, tan, brown or even blood red(The red colour is due to haematin compounds and anthocyanin pigments that naturally build up in some varieties; The red colour may also indicate a nutrient deficiency, notably of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, or magnesium) This sap usually contains a variety of organic and inorganic compounds, mainly sugars, and mineral nutrients, and potassium.

I quoted most of that, but in lamens what I can explain is it was often found in plants that were given more sugars then they could handle and thus they literally push it out in a sap form. Thats also why it has such a sweet taste.

I know Nomaad was working with some Chunky Cherry Malawi earlier this year but don't know what happened to those babies. REv hasn't put out any 'Cherry' stuff recently other than the CCM's. He has done Cherry Thai, from land race Thai, and Cherry Malawi, from Malawi obtained from a farmer who cultivated it in southern Malawi, using the same Cherry Bomb dad.

Hey Nondual; what's the word?
As the Moody Blues would say....Om.

Seriously though hope you're doing OK and glad to see the crosses you're making get out there. This one looks and sounds great! Did you save some beans for me? After many years of doing nothing looks like I'll be getting a new gig together and maybe try out a few of your crosses outdoors. I'll get back to if if that all comes together.

REv did not cross Thai to Affwreck from what I know. I heard there's a Cherry Thai going around and I don't think is REv's if that's the case. He doesn't care for Trainwreck much and has made only one cross with that...I think.

I'm doing good, still recovering from surgery but I'm getting there! I have some beans for you but you better claim them quick, they are almost all gone! I only have a little Cherry Cake and Orange Goo. Cherry Cake #2 with a cure smells exactly like Cherry Pez to me and has a very similar high type to the NCG mommy. As you can see the resin production is pretty insane. Very, very potent :)

Uhhhh...Cherry Cake. Which dad did you use for the Orange Goo? What's the dif between Cherry Cake and Cherry Cake 2? Is trying to guess what NCG is a contest? Ha ha.

Glad you're recovering. I was gonna make it up your way a few months back but had to cancel the trip.

Getting access to a new cut that finishes in 42 days indoor but is BOMB. Everyone I gave a sample to raved about it and that was cut a few weeks early! Finishes outside like Sept 21. When I get all the details and stuff will let you know. Might make nice breeding stock but a polyhybrid sooooo not stable. When I tried it was like holy shit this is good and was definitely surprised.

Fastcast- good shit dude, lifesaver sounds like the bees knees. Before I had ever grown a plant I used to look through the seedbanks for hours and hours, writing down the possible choices to try first. I remember lifesaver stood out- the bud had colors like the rainbow. I used to drool over that pic lol. Good luck on the sour bubble, hear nothing but great things about it.

Unknown prophet- nice pic dude. What said sounds good to me. Is tat pic a live plant? You goo drops look super thin, like a bubble.

Benjuanman- thanks man, the way technology is going we should have scratch and sniff software in a year or two. Porn traffic will either go way up or way down!

4d- thanks!

Nondual- I belive the father of orange goo was cali om. (Ae77calio x spacequeen)x hashiva. Cherry cake#2 is a pheno of cherry cake. Ncg is northern california goo. That 42 day pheno must be stoney girls gear eh?lol. Sounds interesting.

Well...I gave those Ae77 Cali O x Spacequeen beans to the guy that made Cali Om and also told him to change the name from Cali Ohm to Cali Om...lol. Originally got those beans from 4D :) so I can see 4D got them back reworked. Ya sure 4D didn't just use the Ae77 Cali O x Spacequeen beans? The friend that ran them said tasted like orange gum drops or something like that with a very strong orange scent in flower.

Was gonna guess Nor Cal Goo but didn't realize 4D worked with that and thought he was only fiddling with Gooey.

As for Stoney Girl...nope...this stuff is real deal uber short flower cycle, large yielding, incredibly tasty, potent, nice high type stuff that Stoney Girl only wish she had :D. Clone only. My buddy said this strain is a game changer and he's never lied or bullshit me in the 5+ years I've known him. Come to find out I went back and forth with the breeder that made the beans where the male of this cross came from a few years back. Gave him a cut of J1 but trashed it a few years before he got into making beans. Funny what a small world sometimes.

Nondual~ phog is 100% correct on the lineage of Orange Goo! NCG = Northern California Goo and is the same thing as Gooey. Gooeybreeder changed the name to Northern California Goo a few years ago but it all gets confusing I know. I just call her NCG most of the time. Maybe I should just call her by lineage... Gooey( mom) is:
cambodian (70's landrace)
Mex gold (70's landrace)
Lumbo gold (70's landrace)
Thai ( 80's landrace)
Maui (1972 wowie from the developer)

Nice pics bro, she looks dank. I also had my Purple Urkle ooze out and produce globs of sap one run just like yours...mulitple plants too. Tasted super sweet and like someone explained above its not resin build up and I dont think it should be smoked?? Its more of a sugar excretion...I think I over did my sweeteners that run Lol :bigeye:

Highersolutions- thanks man, your are the dude who did the purkle right? Beautiful plants those were, cc#2 has oozed twice- never did smoke the ooze. I defiantely had them swimming in molasses this last run lol.

Puma- hey brotha! What's happenin? There are a few cherry cake beans around, but there not available anywhere :tiphat:

I cracked a cross I made with her and ill throw up a journal soon. Curious to see how she crosses out. I always use the words blasted and lifted when describing the buzz, its a complex heady buzz.
