The top of plant is easiest to tell. You will see a few hairs, or bunches of balls. You probably need another week to tell. That is a reason to go with clones or feminized seeds.

Another reason to go with clones, is saving weeks on vegging, if you take good size top cuts.

Seems like males usually declare before most females.

So if I have a seedling that is JUST NOT SHOWING any sex organs - when the others are - seems like those late bloomers are usually female.
