My state already said they will provide the unemployment benefits if everything goes well, should get a boost from work if people get more money. If Democrat run states can't afford to help people perhaps they should learn to budget and stop wasteful spending.

It sounds like your guy does something that would be considered socialism you like the idea. But when someone Bernie wants to help people live a higher quality of life you call him a communist.

Which makes you a ............

Lol.

It looks like you dont understand the power of an executive order
.... which suicidal governor is going to be the first to tell their suffering unemployed ctizens that they cant come up with a hundo to help them out?
I bet every republican gov comes up with the scratch
Either way Trump delivered a donkey punch to Pelosi
And the do nothing demos....it. could lose them the house if they dont cave

FYI...Trump declared the panademic a national emergency
On march 1 2020

Political strategy isn't their strong suit. Trump gave them all the rope they needed to hang themselves. It's going to be hilarious when red states that a fiscally responsible pay the unemployed, but blue states with sky high taxes can't, or won't. Especially considering they can use cares act funding to pay it.

Talk is cheep Packer. Smart move for dems is to let this play out because we all know the red states are the poor states. Poor as in no money and always dependent on blue state hand outs. Red states don't have the cash to sustain billions in paycheck protection with no end in sight. Let's see who squeaks first.

Dems won't do that though because their interest is in getting a livable amount of money to the people.

Trump’s EOs seemed to be written in such a way that they’re kind of worthless. The unemployment “assistance” is only for a month. Each individual state has to apply to the Federal government in order to receive it. The state has to kick in 25%. But the real kicker seems to be that states will have to build a new system to process the payments because they can’t use existing systems(because of some bureaucratic regulation). Seems like the 30 days will be up before states will have systems up to process payments.

The payroll tax suspension is actually a deferment. Lots of companies won’t do it because of the payroll accounting nightmare that will occur when employee accounts will have to reverse the deferment at the end of the year.

Seems like another trump head fake.
Make big promises and under deliver.

A pattern of doing things with little effect other than
to deliver red meat to the base.

It's nice seeing Pelosi stand up to Trump. The truth will set you free but not in Trump's case. In his case it will put him in jail for a long long time. He won't be president forever will he ?

If you think he will then you must be fully retarded. The man is so completely compromised it's in plain sight he sucks dick for Russia. So basically he is going to Jail eventually.
Just my two cents versus the red hat people.
Those hats are gonna make a good fire starter one day.

Mnuchin is open to restarting virus relief talks: ‘We’re prepared to put more money on the table’

*Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the White House is open to resuming coronavirus aid talks with Democrats and putting more relief money on the table to reach a compromise.

That's a real power move right there.

Throw more money on the negotiating table first thing Monday morning after solving everything with executive orders.

Strategy. Lol.

This graph neatly illustrates what the $600 unemployment bonus is doing for America. See that low point? That's when we don't have the $600 extra for unemployed.

Buh bye stock market.

Coincidently proves trickle down is a complete and utter failure as well. You want to save America? Give the people at the bottom money.

The market is currently near it's all time high, in another post from July you predicted the market would crash in 30 days. Even before Trump signed the executive orders providing relief the market was climbing. I'm just curious what made you put out this prediction?

In my opinion, the market won’t crash and will continue to go up because:
1. Powell and Mnunchkin are goosing the markets with trillions of dollars in cash.
2. The markets anticipate that Joe will win in November.

20+% real unemployment.

80% of Americans currently live paycheck to paycheck with tens of millions without healthcare.

Billionaires are looting America

Police state

But muh stock market is doing good!

Who gives a duck about how well capital is doing. Capital always does well, how's labor doing? You know, the people who really keep the economy moving. Oh right not so well.

If you want to believe that be my guest. Your track record is pretty weak, so far. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

Strategy. Lol.

It's called strategy. The Democrats, are now forever labeled as denying help to Americans in a pandemic.

The sticking points, are bailouts for mismanaged blue states, and ballot harvesting, and mail in ballots.

Republicans were willing to pass a short term bill to keep unemployment funding, while negotiations continue. Pelosi threw a fit and hung herself.

Trump did what he could with EO. Daring Pelosi to sue.

DJT had a family member die in the 1918 Spanish Flu. In his briefing, Trump inaccurately claimed that the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 ended WWII – a conflict that did not begin until two decades later.

Speaking at a White House press briefing on Monday evening, the president also got the year the pandemic started wrong.

“The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic,” Mr Trump told reporters.

“It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, probably ended the Second World War,” he added.

The Spanish Flu began in 1918, with the first infections recorded around March that year. he said 1918 pandemic .

.

It was his grandfather, I think.... you’d think he’d know since the insurance policy kind of set the family up...

And in contrast, repubs are known for saving healthcare for Americans through their use of lawsuits.

Oh, and they're the ones to finally protect preexisting conditions. That just happened, right?

Lol.
