Colorado seeds off the shelf

I am trying to find some seeds in Colorado. I will be out in Denver soon. I'm looking for outdoor mold resistant and as strong as possible. Can't find any info on websites. Or not enough info. Help a brother out. :comfort:

medicine man sells seeds, rare dankness i believe,

lots of dispensaries sell seeds, including green solution, personally io wouldn't grow anything from tgs, but try it out and let us know. the clinic used to sell seeds... not sure now

look in the colorado seed bank thread(s)

Thanks Avinash. I'll check out medicine man. I've looked at rare dankness, no mold info. Thought maybe they were indoor only.

I found a pic on Medicine man website. They had The Bank Genetics. Only saw the fishead series. Does anyone know if they have the Confidential line? There was a little more grow info on the confidential line. Thanks

Centennial seeds, easy to find w googl
I tried their dakini kush and rio negro columbo.

the dakini is super dank bubba kush potent and good taste phenos not too hard to find.

The rio negro is landrace columbian black. Pure sativa but can be grown in colorado and
quite northerly climes outside. Very mold resistant. I picked one keeper out of a pack which is very nice stuff with a different taste. As you might expect, sativa landraces arent usually the best for indoor though stil doable and worthwhile as this columbo strain is very vigorous - it did OK -good under a hps

It was nice and convenient to be able to buy these seeds right at their store counter in lafayette colo.
I would try them again. Yet I have to say that if I was in colorado again or had the means whatever, I would try score one of these clone only's like Bruce Banner #3. Ive heard that even this clone can be found at certain dispensaries but there are lingering doubts about how legit it really is. Craigslist might be worth looking at too.

funny you say that mr heechops, i just put dakini kush seeds in to germinate, really excited about that one....

Out of 1 pack of dakini i got 7 girls.
3 of them were super frosty dense dank, 1 stood out a bit more.
The rest werent as frosty though one of them was still potent.
The smell/taste is good - kinda thick sweet, havent noticed coffee.
Havent tried the pre98 so i couldnt say how close this gets to it.
Very easy to grow, dense slow vegger, can be finished in as little as 50 days.
Watch out for PM

Thanks for the heads up. There is no info about mold resistant strains on centennial that I can find.

Don't think I haven't spent days looking on the Internet. I've checked out craigslist. I'm a little Leary. As I should be.
I would take home 20 clones if I wasn't such a pussy. Lol!

My problem is that I'm far away from Co. And the only info I really care about is mold resistance. And it's the only thing I can't find info about. That's why I'm asking Icmag. I need a little help since I won't have much time to get them. Someone is rushing me, guess who ;).

Nothing is totally mold resistant. That said, the rio negro columbo could be a great choice.
Its not stated on the centennial site as being mold resistant but it makes sense considering where it comes from - lowland equatorial humid part of columbia. I ran it outside at 42 degrees lat. , no mold at all though it was a great dry fall. Couldnt really finish in my climate, the buds were small but that also helps in not having mold too. And most important, it finished enough in my cold moist clime to make some good smoke even if the bag appeal wasnt the best - calyxes did purple up though.
I would ask Ben at centennial, the owner, see if he concurs.

How about some Bodhi seeds? Anyone have a place that has them? That would be ideal. Thanks again for the help. You can't believe how many websites don't say if they carry seeds.

Lol. Did u not look for the co seed bank thread or the co growers thread?...
We grow big in co!

The prob being that the dispos CANT legally sell any seeds made outside colorado.
Thus the lack of diversity seed wise. Trust me I don't mean to b rude. I was in your same boat afew years ago. Baffled by how I could envy find any info in dispo sites about why nobody seemed to carry any beans.
There is as I said a long thread that discusses this issue and your question in detail.
It's been a wile so there are certainly more start ups on the shelves than this.

Thanks for the response. I have read all of the info you linked to. The only problem I seem to have is they don't think anyone grows outdoor. No info about mold or disease resistant. I didn't know that they couldn't sell seeds from outside Co. Makes a little more sense. Can these breeders be contacted directly. I have so few questions. Can't believe nobody knows anything about the Colorado genetics. Makes me worry that they are fly by nighters. Dump seeds and move on. Any thoughts anyone?
