Good day to all!

Raco, how is going the summer bro? :)

I believe i sent you Guerrilla, Bangi Haze and Orient Express 2 seasons ago. The one you are posting looks like an Orient Express. OE produces a big main cola and some strong branches. The leaf trait is also quite similar to your plant. Thanx for share it! ;)

Limeygreen, we are not working with Renatta this year. She maybe comes back again for 2007 but im not sure by now.

OGBluntman420, Thank you for your kind of words! They are very apreciated!

I hope you are enjoying! dubi

Hi all,
Some pics from my orient express. I play since one year with one of it. And i really appreciate this variety. Very vigorous and high yield. Compact bud and the prefer the high with 8 weeks of flowering.
One one photo you can see a clone finishing, which grow in a perfect triplenode. This plant requires a heavy feeding.
This year i will try tikal.

Strain descriptions -update 2008

Strain descriptions -update 2008

High all!

Here are the updated strain descriptions for 2008, some descriptions have suffered minor changes. Info updated with new strains too:

OLDTIMER’S HAZE

Genetics: 100% sativa. Hybrid of different tropical sativas: Mexican, Purple Highland Colombian, Southern Indian (Kerala) and Thai.

The Haze was developed in California in the 1960s and 70s by crossing some of the best tropical sativas which had been imported during that period.

Our Haze population comes from Oltimer, a British breeder, and it has been preserved intact until today being possible to find phenotypes ranging from the mythic and nearly extinct “Purple Haze” to the most popular “Green Haze” phenotype.

Oldtimer’s Haze is a delight for 70s sativas lovers, a trip back into the past for all those who could not enjoy it at that time.

Structure: Slim and elegant plants, with a tall, branched structure. Medium-length internodes. At the time of growing, the leaf is very thin and shows a pale colour. It reacts very well to pruning.

Bouquet: Dark, fruity aroma, with earthy touches of ashes, incense and antique wood aroma.

Green Haze’s aroma is fruitier (like tropical ripe fruit), while Purple Hazes smell like blackberry and black liquor.

Effect: Strong stimulating and mental effect, without heaviness or physical weakening. A high level of THC and low level of CBD together produce a no-limit effect. It can produce anxiety and paranoia in high doses and/or to persons prone to these conditions.

Flowering time: it takes between 16 and 24 weeks, depending on the plant’s size and the flowering conditions. Outdoors it ends between the end of December and January.

Production/m2: Medium-low.

Growing type:

Indoors: we only recommend it to extreme sativas lovers, for breeding projects and/or for seed production.

Outdoors: Preferable in tropical or subtropical climates. Within latitudes between 20º and 35º, we would recommend a warm, coastal climate and the use of a greenhouse.

Panama distributed past year was F4 hybrid, it has been a long breed with initial outcrosses and then inbreeding 3 way panama/colombian sativa hybrid for 2 generations more. New reproduction has been focused towards red pheno, it's a F4 too. Should be available around June.

Best wishes grandsrin!

Well exactly was bred 2 generations with older panaman and most columbian one and then crossed to third panaman (3 males used here). Then 2 more steps to finally get the most resinuous, best structures and best yielders ones while still being so panaman. So seeds are 5th generation.

Hybrid has flown naturally always showing favourable traits and vigour and was kinda easy to fix. Everything matched well and not forcing phenos in selections at all but only selecting best phenoswhich seemed to have matched easly. Guess lines were not differing too much each other wich also helped a lot

Expect good response on traits to be passed and plenty of resins ;)

Good day Hazeseedker,

I think you are talking about same strain: mexican michoacan 'verde limón'

It's a fast flowering (10-12 weeks) mexican strain, inbred in spain a few generatios. Potency is not very high but high quality effect, very happy effect. It's a great sativa to cross with other stronger long flowering sats and reduce flowering times in hybrids without add indica genes. Indeed is one the sativas used to create CBG's Destroyer hybrid ( thai x mexican/colombian genes ). If people is interested on her, maybe we can talk with Seedbay staff to upload some packs.
