First off let me get the Thank You's out of the way.....

The light setup I am using is a 126w test unit from http://www.hydro-grow-led.com and LedGirl and the link to her Vendor area here on Icmag is http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65640 .

The Sour 60 seeds came from my buddy MDanzig and here is the link to his Vendor area http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65560 and the link to his area on Seedbay http://www.seedbay.com/index.php?a=5&b=81 . ( Hopefully soon the Sour 60 is going to be listed. )

I am going to be using IceColdCrickets soil method for the grow and the details of that can be found here..... http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=131611

Here are a couple pictures of the light and some seedlings.

The light comes in a basic cardboard box with some Chinese stickers on it but that is it so you cannot tell what is in the box unless you open it.

It is about the size of a VCR and weighs alittle more and very bright.

MD says to grow the Sour 60 on 24/7 and now that I have this unit running the lights for 24/7 won't cost as much and it is suppose to be equal to a 400w light but only use 126 + or - a couple o watts. LedGirl has told me that she is going to send me two more units to test giving me a total wattage of under the 400w light but giving me equal to 1200w's.

So if I can run 3 of these lights 24/7 and get the equal of 1200w think of how this is going to increase the yield without increasing the cost of power. Plus they are going to run a lot cooler so no big need for a AC unit and extra fans so the cost saving could be large.

i really really really really want this to go well for you, S_a_H . [and LEDGirl, too, for that matter]

ive been wanting/waiting to pull the trigger on an LED setup for a few years now.......... but prices and lack of grows out there has always deterred me. (and many others)

lemme grab a seat. itd be nice to see a grower familiar to me give these rigs a go. i know you can garner some good stuff, S_a_H, so "grower errors" aint no optie here.
id prefer something not of the autoflower variety, but, one step at a time, i suppose.
probably a good choice, tho, to give the setup a quick run to check performance, so ill shut up and grab a seat. (props, too, to Mdanzig for hookin up the stock)

:lurk:
