Sounds like a grand adventure your on hom. I hope you put those seeds to good use when you get back home. Please save these genetics they sound like some solid strains.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

I was just in Siem reap a year ago. Wanted to collect seeds so bad. My significant other is not a smoker and gets nervous being in other countries in those sort of scenarios, so I didn't go after any. Was approached many times to purchase bud, in addition to the pizza places. Oh well, maybe later in life. Love cambodia though.

Another fine adventure Hom. That oil looks better that the oil found in Nepal or even India. I guess it has to do with the fine Sativa that you use to make it with!! I wonder if their is any hand rubbed hash in Cambodia?

While the west is opening its eyes to the myriad of uses cannabis offers, Cambodia and India are cracking down HARD on cannabis right now. My beans are in the fridge but I think I should do a seed run to preserve these genetics since eradication efforts have really stepped up this year!

Hi hom,

just finished your thread about your trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. I went to Vietnam and i must i did find great weed there, pretty sure it was local as it was grown on the island where i was spending my holidays. The effect was very very laughing, me and my friend would laugh for a good 2-3 hrs after just one big full spliff shared. We just couldn't stop laughing every time we would smoke one. People thought we had some screws missing :) i managed to get some seeds (very big and very black) from our local supplier who otld us he was getting the stuff from local farmers growing on site (the island) and while in a bar i was also lucky to meet two brothers who just arrived from cambodia and got plenty of stuff on them who offered us good bags at cheap prices and got also several seeds from the stuff. so i consider myself double lucky for having scored easily two landraces effortlessly :) if you still have the cambodian seeds and feel like swapping some of them with mine i am here, more than willing. just let me know! cheers and many thanks for the beautiful thread on cambodia! i certainly will go soon there and explore it! :dance013:

Cheers folks, all is good in the wet patch. I will be going to India for a week or 2 during harvest season and then back to Cambodia for a while. Still on the hunt for the finest Cannabis south east asia has to offer. The finest product usually arrives in Nov or Dec in Cambodia. Enough time to flower after the monsoon passes and the best temps for flowering, especially if you fancy gettin a fast finishing indica onto the balcony. I will get more pics and videos from India and Cambo soon folks.

that's good to know as i'll arrive in india (south-kerala) beginning of january. a trusted source told me that it still not the right time there to go and look for anything (especially seeds) as they start harvesting end of jan beginning of feb!

Travelling to far away places in search of Cannabis is something many people wish to do. They just can't for whatever reasons.
Someone has to do it... So fuck yeah!!! :respect:

We were lucky in that an Uncle went to Vietnam on a business trip, and while there he stopped over in Cambodia to see some old friends. He left with a handful of seeds that he brought back to Hawaii nei.

I have a copy of the female they kept (not sure if there are more seeds in hand or if this is it) but I am just getting to know her. The bud pic is a very long cured chunk he had stashed in jar while I was visiting.

The fan leaves do a gnarly double bladed serration action that is very cool, though I've seen it before (in the BloodxDurban we have).

Anyhow sorry to hijack the thread I was just mega excited haha

Enjoy your travels and stay safe
Aloha!

Hello IC maggers, I've been exploring Cambodia for a few months now and the cannabis scene here is very impressive. There is definitely no shortage of choices. I'm collecting landrace seeds and sampling anything that I can find. Locals use the plant in their chicken soup and weed is sold openly from any happy pizza place. It's impossible to walk 10 steps in Phnom Penh without being offered something...."psst....opium,china white, weed, skunk, yum yum...tuk tuk". Prices vary wildly with tales of people buying kilos for $20, to grams of indoor in the capital at $15 a pop. I found lot's of Nepali hashish here too, usually at 7-10$ a gram. I been doing a few bubble runs to make myself some nice hash. Cheapest greenery I personally found so far is 100 grams for $30. There is also alot of oil being made over here....had a wee taste this morning. Pure sativa goodness. I'm gonna make a batch of that very soon too. Will upload a few pics when I get the oil underway. Here's a few pics of some buds I been finding out here. Super uplifting and buzzy high from most of these ladies. Eyes out on stalks feeling....I just finished a joint and am currently floating away.....enjoy[/URL]

amazing thread. real holiday tour porn . is the bud heavily seeded? mainly sensi? many hermies ? how do they dry it and store it out there with the high humidity. some of the old import that was dried in the sun or in shade , pressed , a bit moldy and shipped around the world was never a great representation of these beautiful sativas. thanks for the read
