Growing 2 or 3 plants in one 30 gallon pot?

Is that an OK idea?

Wanted to start running purely regular seeds, already had to chop a male last grow in a 30 gallon pot.

Hoping to make seeds... was thinking 2 or 3 plants (of 1 genetic) in each of my 30 gallon pots (I have 3)... and then just having 3-6 two gallon pots laying around, also having regular seeds growing in there. If they turn out to be males, I can easily move em around instead of chopping.

The only problem I can see (assuming you're not after quantity) is that one plant may shade another. But that won't stop seed production.
