Could this be the year?

HB-364 will allow patients and caregivers to grow small amounts of cannabis.

Call Sununu and urge him to sign this bill into law.

quote from NHPR article below:

The New Hampshire Legislature is sending a handful of medical marijuana bills, including one that would allow limited "home grow" of cannabis for qualified patients and caregivers, to Governor Sununu.

The "home grow" option has long been debated in the Granite State, and before the state's therapeutic cannabis law went into effect more than five years ago.

Another bill would establish a procedure for the annulment of arrests or convictions for possession of three-quarters of an ounce or less of cannabis, if it occurred before Sept. 16, 2017 -- the date "decriminalization" of marijuana took effect. Sununu supported that decriminalization, but he opposed efforts this year to legalize recreational marijuana for adults.

Lawmakers embraced a change in how the medical marijuana law was set up back in 2013. That bill seeks to eliminate the three-month time-frame for a provider-patient relationship.

One bill would authorize the state Department of Health and Human Services to collect certain data related to the therapeutic cannabis program. There are more than 7,100 people enrolled in the medical marijuana program now.

One bill would allow physician assistants to authorize the use of the drug for patients, while yet another clarifies where a second medical marijuana dispensary may be located within a geographic area.

The N.H. House passed a marijuana legalization bill, for recreational, adult use , in April. The Senate later voted to delay action on it.

Good news!
Best wishes!
Try to ensure your growing rights will not be removed from the bill after the fact in a closed door session.

So the governor vetoed the bill. The senate had a chance to override the veto, but we actually lost votes the second time around. The bill has been resubmitted for 2020.

The NH Governor is a drunk and loves to gamble. Doesn't mind selling nips on the highways though! Notice how quickly he's working on getting the sports betting up and running. He's even excited about putting in the 1st bets! To bad, NH isn't going to get legalization until he's out of office, that's for sure. Fortunately I have a house in Mass. But still not cool at all.....

Can't be too much longer until we finally pass, really we ain't much worse off than VT. They can only grow 2 plants might as well still be illegal there.

Recreational is a bit of a joke, in MA they only have a few recreational shops that are extremely overpriced. Think they'll let me open one? Lol, probably not, I don't play golf with the governor.

SB. 420 has passed the senate and is on the way the House of Reps. Similarly HB. 1648 has passed the House and will be sent next to the Senate. The governor is likely to veto both bills, however a veto proof majority could prevent this from happening.

SB. 420 would allow medical patients to grow limited quantities for themselves.

HB. 1648 would legalize up to 3/4 of an ounce and allow anyone to grow limited quantities of cannabis.

I personally hope we would pass a better recreational bill, that would make it fairly easy to get a license. That way only the best growers will remain and California will want our cuts. Lol

Nation wide legalization would be epic too. I'd love to have an American Cannabis Cup just so New England can beat California with superior quality. One day, the dream will be real. Lol
