thanks guys it goes down every night west cost time 12am everynight.. Is this going to fix that ??
yes there is a backup around this time every day that slows the site down
this is actual work on the servers so they will be off completely
I've just changed the title of the thread so people understand we are going down exactly 12 hours from now for about 20 minutes! That's TONIGHT at midnight for ppl on the West Coast!
The site goes down late at night for backups. It's not really down, but the database tables are locked as they get backed up. It is done at the time most convenient for the majority of icmag members (late nite/early morning for them).

This seems to be fixed now. It's held accurate time since yesterday...
