Q Aerogarden and starting seeds?

Hello everyone!

I am going to try coco for the first time and i am wondering if i can use a aerogarden to start my germed seeds in them but i am wondering if the "sponge" that comes with the aerogarden would not be good or perhaps cause problems when transplanting in coco after..

thoughts anyone, comments\suggestions?

Doubt it.

I've transplanted peat pots rockwool cubes neoprene collars and foam plugs with no negative consequences.

I also pot "up" when transplanting. This assures the sponge dries properly and doesn't stay soaked promoting any bad news.
