Is my seedling stretching too much?

Works fine in the beggining of lifecycle...
I forcibly induce stretch in new plants and the cover till just under sun leaves - the newly covered stem will produce new feeder roots!

Once a bark has started developing though, you need to re-pot but keep plant stem at same level or you run the risk of causing lock-out!
A lock-out ring could develope at base of stem and affect uptake of nutrients
