Using a dehumidifier as a water chiller

This is amazing, I guess my first question is how do you deal with the extra heat??

Does the fan still run??

oooh... i've got a dehuey I don't use sitting around...hmmm...i thought about this in the past... but just figured i'd do it the old fashion way til i got a chiller....hmmm

this completely works. The heat can be ducted outside the area with no ill effects.

Nice you can also take a mini fridge put two holes in it and fill it with as many coils of tubing you can. Run the tubing out the two holes one to a pump in your res snd the other pouring into your res

After reading this thread, I tore apart my dehu'. It works. It works way better than an actual water chiller and cost at least 3-5 times less.
