Barabba's Exxxtractions

First try:

• 30g Frozen Untrimmed outdoor grown hemp flowers
• ~500ml Ethanol 96% Frozen
• 15min stir
• Kitchen strainer

Sucked everything up in a syringe while still hot, just like good Rick Simpson taught us.



Scraped the rest from the pan with a spoon.



Overall very happy with my first extraction but:

1. Use of a smaller filter is mandatory
2. 15 min soak is way too much = lot of clorophill extracted
3. Very hard to collect the product from the pan
4. Probably overcooked it as the temperature is hard to control on my electric hotplate

Nonetheless a great tasting oil, very spicy and sticky in the mouth, also smoked it on cigarettes but I feel like wasting the aromas, better with a dabber.

SUB ZERO QWET

• 66g Hemp untrimmed flower freezer temp (-10C)
• 1.5lt Ethanol 96% freezer temp (-10C)
• 60 sec subzero wash gently stirring
• Tea Strainer + Wine paper filter

Full heat on induction. BE SAFE-NO FLAMES



Reduced the heat when this much left.

Then scraped off as much as I could but very frustated by the amount left on the pan.

Wanted to try which one of the two is less sticky: the silicone mat.



~6g of extract, different consistencies.
