should my light cover this space

hi guys just wondering if a 600w light will cover a space of 150cm x 150 cm. reason I'm asking is I'm useless with measurements I got a grow tent 1.2 x 1.2 would 150cm x 150 cm fit in this tent. many thanks for any reply's terrier

150cm is just under 5 ft.... a 600 would work but slightly under sized...5x5 would be just right for a 1kw

It all depends which type of light you intend to use! Footprint and penetration largely depend on type.

I'm running a 600W LED in a 3x3x6ft (91x91x180cm) main tent and 300W in a 2x2x4ft veg tent. Both more than enough, for MY application. I use LED because I don't want to deal with the extra cost of running, MH, HPS not to mention dealing with the heat and the equipment needed to maintain my tent at optimum brilliance, temperature and humidity. If you are running MH, HPS, get yourself a ballast that has adjustable wattage!

Personally, I'd throw 1 - 630w CMH fixture or 2 - 315w CMH fixtures in there. Go with more CFM than you think you will need and that would be ideal.
