I love the work of Werner Herzog. His early german movies with Klaus Kinski are unforgetable! His actual work in the USA is very good also and I love his german accent.:)

Yes and Herzog brought the truly great actor Bruno Ganz to our attention,,,:tiphat:s2

Ahhh .....if'n ya like Westerns then I would surely recommend 'The Ballad of Buster Scrugs' - its like a book of short, but poignant stories - in film.

I'll have to check that out..

Fastest Car on Netflix is pretty good.

Just watched the first two episodes.. decent show.

I'm new to all this stuff, netflix..Prime etc. Just got a flatscreen for the growage and picked up a ROKU stick. Now to find grow tuturials on Youtube and the like.

I'll have to watch the Mafia related stuff VP mentioned.. sucker for anything Mob related.

Is there Netflix for Porn ?

"Your search for 'behind the green door' yielded no results."

What does Netflix have against Marilyn Chambers ?

In the land of normal cinema, I think one thing that helps a show stand out is music choice.

I think that's one of the things that made Sons of Anarchy as successful as it was, people liked the music that went with the action scenes.

The 'Aguirre the Wrath of God' is my favorite of his.

I like his accent and way of speaking also.

been watching a lot of historical documentaries and whatnot lately. big fan of the ken burns stuff. I like the colorized archival footage of ww2. gives a lovely nostalgic view into such an interesting historical period. I love the dialogue in it too. such a different time. really worth the watch if you like that kind of thing.

Hello Water, the Documentation movie "Mein geleibter Feind/My beloved enemy(?)" ist fantastic. The story of Herzogs and Kinskis lifelong collaboration. As they filmed "Aguirre", the indians ask Herzog if they shall kill Kinski? Kinski was crazy and agrssive as hell.

A little clip, with english subtitles :)

Ozark the series is very good on Netflix. The acting is on point, and the story line is crazy...

OP

I tried to put in in my queue but I guess it's not available on DVD.

I have a feeling that if I start watching the Netflix downloads, my monthly Netflix bill will increase.

My favorite Herzog Documentary would have to be Happy People: A Year in the Taiga.

The madness in view is another reason to watch the documentary on the making of Herzogs “ Fitzcarraldo “,,,
Seemed like they were on the verge of losing it,,

Altered Carbon. They redid the plot from the original book but still pretty decent. Plenty of hot nekkid womenz as well. Chick who plays Ortega and Miriam are two very smokin hot women.

I noticed very late, that Herzog is in the USA since years. "Into the Abyss" (I saw twice) was the first documentation movie from him I saw on TV.

Maybe by the side. I think it´s in Europe and english speakin Countrys usual to talk about the Monty Python movies, with collegues and/or friends, in our generation. In Germany, for my Generation, everybody knows Kinski and his crazy Moments, but it´s alittle bit off topic.
