First breeding project - have some questions

Plant 1:
Tall male that is pretty stretchy, but just recently started smelling like aqua di gio cologne. Like this beautiful bright citrusy sandalwood smell.

Plant 2:
Female that has pretty much been praying the entire grow, had a strong eucalyptus scent at like 2 weeks old that stuck in my nose, now smells like really loud cedar-y, slightly mentholated zest.

Plant 3:
Short squat male, smells like tennis balls and semi-cooked pork. Can't really tell, but has super trippy, fat, caterpillar, alice in wonderland leaves. Shape is almost like a trophy, or a trident? The bottom lowers really are growing up and seem very strong. I kind of like the structure because I figure it'll probably bush out pretty well for a tent/trellis. Also has some very very dark purple male preflowers.

My first issue is this: I had considered the short squat male the entire time, until this tall guy started smelling so amazing. So now I have to decide I guess.

My second issue is this: I have several other plants a month behind...While they're growing up, I was going to flower my short male, collect pollen, then start the females after male stops dropping so they dont get pollinated, and still hopefully flower them in the same room. Eventually, taking that collected pollen, and pollenating a branch.

Is there a way to keep a second male in an apt? Could I start flowering both, then before they drop pollen, move one male into a tent in the living room with a shoplight and then collect the pollen there? I figured I could just keep it zipped up and only open to water like once a week, then spray everything with water.. I just dont wanna bother if its just guaranteed to cross pollenate.

I feel like this was a little rambly and disorganized haha. Any insight would be appreciated.

I would definitely collect pollen of both males and pollinate individual marked branches of the female plant. Then test both, knowing which is which.

I'd just put both males at a window and collect the pollen once the sacks open.

Good luck!

Usually those breeders grow same plants for few or more cicluses, thing is
that you need to apply stress(light stress is best)

Then some of them smoke plants that they need to breed,so they can judge
quality of progeny they will get in next generation.

But you can do it on blind, you can get something good, something bad or something
inbetween if you do so.

You can made 2 crosses, one with tall male and another with squat male, until you
dont try to grow progeny you will not know what you got.

Males survive long enough to mature pollen with very little light, and dont need to be kept under 12/12 once they have started flowering - I put mine in a north facing bathroom, once they show sex and are looking in danger of shedding pollen. They dont need additional lights, really. They dont have to be healthy - just survive long enough to produce pollen. You can prune them down to a few branches to save space. No need to waste valuable tent space on them.

I would use all the males that interest you - just dust different buds on each plant with the pollen from the different males - and most importantly make sure you label everything (masking tape tags with pencil or indellible marker pen are goodl)

Have fun!

Once the flowers have formed on the male plants, you can cut the branches and keep them in a glass/vase of water on the windowledge until they drop pollen to collect. change the water every 3-4 days.

What cannabis line is it ?

If it is a landrace I would continue down your path of selection

If it is a hybrid don't fukin worry, choose any plant's to continue on..... unless you are going to live for over one thousand years
