Climatically speaking, the season starts in March. But, in my particular case, to get plants that do not exceed 3 meters approx in stem length, I have to wait until May. And if I don't want them to exceed 2 meters approximately, to June.

From June 15, approximately, the germinated plants mature me later than those born before that date...

Today dawned in my Sierra Morena (38'5°N) a somewhat unpleasant day, cloudy and foggy; especially in the last photo you can see in the background the valley covered with fog. 17°C of max in the shade, 7°C of min at night.

Around here, after the surprising and huge snowfall in January (because of "Filomena Artic storm"; something very rare here), I've had maximum temperatures in the shade of between 18 and 21 °C all this week. Winter is finally gone, and everything is starting to fill up with flowers and birdsong.
I am already planning the cultivation.
However, I know from experience that I must wait at least until May to germinate or plant, if I don't want to grow monsters in which the Guardia Civil helicopters can get entangled,,, heh....

Boreal Curing
I was looking at AAAA bud last night. Close to the best I've seen, and it was $500 for 10. There's more weed around here than I've ever seen, even with lots of huge busts the last few months (>400kg, 10,000 plants, etc.) People who usually buy upstream, are trying to sell me. So... I'm backing way way off this summer. I'm tempted to buy a few boxes, repackage in vac/co2, deep freeze, sit on them and let that be my cash crop.

I'll do 50 or so plants in a few spots because I love the solitude and it keeps me close to nature. Nothing can replace heading out at 6am on the atv with a thermos of coffee for my weekly visits.

It’s kind of like that here I’m going to be downsizing the season growing mostly for my head I still haven’t processed everything from last year:bigeye:

Talk about shocking the palms eh? I have some c5- fat mangos I'm gonna try to do justice w help from my vermont grow fam who have wonderful land and security to see them through...I've been pollen chucking these

Hey everyone, here’s an interesting thing.
I remember giving advice about snail and slug damage and how they have the ability to kill a mature plant by girdling the stem, this can happen overnight in a severe infestation or over a period of weeks.
These plants were selected out of 100, over winter and the lone survivors, as part of a breeding project I’m running to lock down Bio Vortexe’s Black Dog, sold by HSO. The male was bred from an ACE’s Golden Tiger, selected and used for an in cross and back cross. The back cross is showing potential.
As you can see in the photo the close up clearly demonstrates the plant on the left is susceptible to attack and the plant on the right, less so.....a little bit early on. You can also see how they feed in a little circle, scratching and scraping away at the bark, down through the cambium to the phloem and cutting off the plant’s ability to move sap, nutrients and water up and down the stem.
The full plant shot will give you an idea of the structure and how the effected plant is finishing. Above the damage is reaching senescence on par with its sister but below, the laterals are still four, or more, weeks away, as seen out to the right hand side of the photo.
There can be only one,
