For thsoe of you using R/O... I am very surprised at how fast my filters are being used up. Brand new it was 10-20ppm..I'm at ~100ppm on a 270ppm city water system now. And I'm NOT a big user.
I replaced my filters with cheapos off the zon or ebay and they've stayed at 0 for a long time I probably have over 5000 gallons thru them since then. its got 6 different filters, 3 big membranes. Mines been at 250 or higher otherwise.
Appreciate the info! Cant wait to give this a try. Makes so much sense vs paying for water.

I am under LED in coco. Been under a week since flip and was vegging under hps. Now I have gone from nice green to yellowing inside of top growth. I believe it is Ca deficiency. Should I add Cal Nit or Cal mag and how much per gallon? Appreciate it to the max!

I'm not a pro leaf whisperer, but that doesn't look like a Ca deficiency to me. My first guess would be Iron.
I have been using the mr fulvic with feed for the last 2 years. I just last week read that bill was recommending using it soley as a drench weekly. I don't think thats it. The HPS tent is a bit pale too so maybe I need to add cal mag??
I am also running Silica Blast at 4ml/gal but also something I have been doing w canna, so I dont think thats it. I was afraid of going from 1.2 to 1.4 but they didnt seem like they were hurting. I have heard others running LED that they were feeding way more too. I know my last run was holding nutes even though I had run off.
Last time w canna I was feeding 1.2 and checked runoff at 4w bloom and was getting 2.7ec so maybe I should increase the ec and water longer. They are on drip as I dont have the time to hand water and am frequently away for a week or more. The Jacks is cheap so no issue running more fluid through them if need be just need to know where to start out without burning them up.

My understanding has been that temps play a role in cal/mag deficiency, especially with coco and Leds. HPS/MH usually produce more heat so the symptoms stay back, even with coco. Never fails, folks overthinking this and screw up their gardens with all kinds of make believe cause and effect stuff.
Never fails someone chimes in with a vague un useful comment that makes the OP play even more guessing games.
I believe they needed a higher ec. I was under the 321 recommendation for full strength. I normally dont run so high of an ec. I upped it to 1.4 and increased time on drip and they look better.
Prior to jacks I know that I was getting buildup as I was feeding 1.2 but they were darker green and runoff was always testing higher than input ie 2.4-2.7 but not usually higher and no tip burn. The look better now but will have to keep up with this and probably keep ramping up the ec over the next couple of weeks.
I did add 60ppm calmag plus just to see as it has iron as well but just a bit.

You're fishing, and over thinking this.
If you're doing water culture or soil, it's hard to beat Dyna-Gro. As my thread shows I like Osmocote. 1 part, complete nutrition at a reasonable price. Cannabis specific foods suck.

Hey guys, I'm new here and I only have access to the masterblend's 4-18-38/epsom salt/calnit set. I've read all 32 pages of this thread and now I'm even more confused lol. Should I just follow MB's instructions just to keep things simple or is there a better alternate ratio that even a novice like me could follow?
Sorry for the confusion friend. The important thing is that the EC remains consistent without fluctuations. Keep constant feed going with the appropriate ppm. If you need help go to the help forum and start from scratch. I will be glad to help you.

Can I use osmocote on tomatoes? I wanna practice on growing tomatoes first before I start growing cannabis.

Get some hemp seeds from the pet shop. Somewhere specialising in bird feeds, as you can usually buy the individual seeds, to blend your own bird food. Health food shops also carry them, as hipsters like to nibble.

You've fallen for the cannabis hype. There are NO special needs for weed.
All you need is a good hit of Osmocote Indoor-Outdoor Plus and watering can. Start to finish.
