I doubt that one....there is so much weed growing this minute...
and literally 100s of acres more of planned greenhouses, everywhere

very good for the greenhouse business, which I just happen to be a part of
(welder for greenhouse manufacturer)

business, and investors are spending millions, to get in on the ground floor
of grow ops....

not to mention a lot more people want to grow it themselves at home
that's a whole new market on the horizon...
bringing a new light to the term "home grown"

grow kits, lighting, literature how to grow....dvds and videos...on and on
its an investors dream, to get in on the ground floor of any of it
garden ready security cameras....hey the sky is the limit

build it, and they will come....
as it were...

Oregon grew 20 times more than it consumed in 2017

and is producing more tonnage this year.

Same for California & Washington.

Who is all that excess pot going to be sold to - the Martians ?

Definitely not the Canadians.

People in Ohio ? Eskimos ?

The Cannabis industry is not following Wayne Gretzky's advice,

about skating to where the puck is going to be.

Cannabis prices will end up like Hops Humulus prices -

https://www.yakimavalleyhops.com/category_s/2068.htm

$20 a pound at Yakima Valley hops.

Not trying to be a downer - the situation is mostly good for consumers.

People will not spend more next year on Cannabis than they did this year.

Some of the free-market unlicensed consumption will be converted to Black Market, Corporate consumption - and therefore Sales will Look Like they're increasing.

There will be a Cannabis Bubble, the bubble will 'pop, and business schools will spend the next century talking about it, just like they used FedEx as a biz school example in the 80's.

Also found this, off the subject - Hops has sedative qualities ?

Ohio's markets are rife with shit that floods in from Cali and the rest of the coast as well as Michigan overage.

The quality is average at best and prices are dropping.

Outdoor that's a year old is wrecking prices on quality indoor. Guys are dropping a buck an ounce and a stack off of packs.

Dumpster and Death Star have been eaten by Blue Dream and C99.

Truly pathetically sad times for a once former mecca.

Oh well "progress" is finally here so I'm sure we'll all be seeing "the light" soon enough.

ya....nope

us Canadians don't need no surplus weed from Oregon....
but definitely thanks for the offer tho,...lol

we got our own going on....you know we do
yup...like our beer, we also got some good smoke up here
....ahaha

surplus weed, now thats another topic, another thread to discuss...

you would hope, with a vast surplus, why does'nt the price come down
to be a bit more affordable, for people who cant afford
the luxury of having weed onhand...

why you ask....simple
because government is involved that's why

this (in canada anyways) ...
is a new CASH COW, that needs milking for the next 50 years or so
however long they can get away with it...

I calculated our greedy bastardgeous (s) gov.
is going to rake in $1 for every joint smoked, from now till the end of time

or so is thier plan of a $1 a gram "access tax"
do the math on that....

collecting billions of dollars in taxes is one thing
pissing it away like its water, is another...
you know they aint gonna spend that wisely
on hospitals, schools, doctors, or infrastructure....

and what about the unfortunate people that cant afford weed on a good day
but they need it for medicinal reasons....ya uncle sam don't care neither.....lol

I think concentrates should be tested & labelled for freshness.

I just made some space in the drying room, the spare bathroom that doubles as the "kitty litter" room, for this year's crop.

Last year's crop - goes to make next year's worm castings.

I just harvested about 2 pounds today. At most, I will consume 365 grams of it, a gram a day.

Canada is no longer an Idiot Nation.

Although you did vote against Palestine as G77 chair.

Just can’t do it can you? You and those like you just can’t read a post in a non political thread and comment on the subject at hand. Asswipes like that cause division and animosity wherever they go and then wonder why no one cares for them and tunes them out. Or in this case get added to the ignor list.
Be interesting to know what members are on the most ignored list.
