While living in Manila in the late 70's I bought cannabis that was packed in bamboo. It had a very peppery taste. Rumor was that it was from Mexico but I have never seen it since leaving the Philippines. If anyone has any insight into what it was that I smoke, please let me know. BTW...the Thai stick coming into Manila in the late 70's was exceptional!
