1000w hps for flower so 500w mh for veg?

If using a 1000w for flower, would you want 500w mh for veg? Trying to get an even amount of light in veg to make the most of the 1000w.

How do you get 500 mh?

Less light is fine for younger plants. It's a waste of many photons going full blast on a weak canopy.

Go full blast on a full canopy and into stretch and flower.
