just wondering if any of you folks know the dates for the the Nymbin cup this year. Is it even still running? was thinking of making the trip if work permits....

of course the nimbin mardi grass will be up and running this year. 6th and the 7th of may.

was 12 hrs from sydney hideyoshi , so im thinking at least 20 from melbourne ,, bit of a drive ...

Well, after speaking to a friend of mine whose been itching for a road trip for I cant remember how long, I'm going to Nymbyn!!! 20 hours drive? bah! I can do that, or atleast I can try. Either way, I'm there and yes, the pics will be coming in abundance...

well no matter how long the drive is it'll be worth it hey guys
If i make it this year it will be my first time in nimbin let alone the mardi grass but i've heard it's magic and everything you could think of to do with weed it's there so i hope i get time off work to get down there it'll be a blast

well it looks like its gonna be an IC'ed up mardi grass this year, and my first to boot. I cant wait after all the good things I've heard about it, foaming at the mouth so to speak. BTW, did anybody see the special they had on a current affair/today tonight whatever concerning the Nymbin cup? I didnt but from the advertisement I could tell it was going to be a demonisation of the event...

I just came from Nimbin and it is OK. Not great gear. Not such a nice town but relatively nice people. Better to fly into Coolangatta take a day trip up there in the morning and then head over to Byron Bay to spend a few days. Mardi Gras might be another story though.
