Gotta give props to blynx led cabs and cfl vs led post and ReikoX help these last few days got my leds today working on setting up flowering chamber with 6 10 watt leds 800 lumens ea which is really nice considering each bulb runs cheaper than the cfl 23 watts i had il be running my flowering chamber at less than half the original power i had expected and they are twoce as good as the 23 watt cfls i had which i thought were perfect till now glad i made the switch working on everything now will post update with completed cab later tonight

Lights wired up and working still trying to decide if i want a small fixture or to just screw straight to ceiling probably go with ceiling cant do much more tonight for stealth purposes but here they are

Thanks Blynx glad to see your thoughts on the cab still improving things here and there as i go think im going to go get 3 pack of 5500k 10 watt led and 3 more socket at lowes another 10 bucks, rewire aet up those in veg room so i have 2 plugs 1 for each side to go on my digital timer that has only 2 plug spots and for less wires in general looks cleaner was trying to make this as nice as i could not great with power tools but got the job done first time building something really so im proud of myself lol

So got plants moved over to flower chamber because pots were to big for my set up to fall down into the black container so will be using 32 or 44 oz styrofoam cups they fit perfect which will allow for full veg growth so even though plants are moved still on 18/6 had to rush to set lights up fucking girlfriend bitching everytime i do one lil thing to the box its like fuck the plants were going to burn up tomorrow while i worked because they were like 1/4 in away from cfls still need little perfecting sometime tomorrow if i can go without getting bitched at itl be a miracle but here we are

If anyone did notice those are all 2700k leds so i went n got 3 5k 10 watt leds this morning couple hours after lights switched on so they could still veg and bought more sockets going to get veg side set up the whole box is running at the same or less power than just my veg side was running at with 4 23 watt cfls will post completely completed led switch later need few little tweaks here n there and to go get some right sized screws n stack plants up little closer to light will be handing off all extra pieces needed to set up cfl micro grow to my girlfriends lil brother so he can set himself up something and im going to let him have a clone or some seeds we'll see lol

Re did lights spread them out tad might add 2 more sockets in middle and run 8 of leds for flowering and 3 leds in veg we will see how goes need to top plants soon if i do havnt decided just kind of trial run not sure exactlt how i want to do things yet might need to start flowering soon thoughts anyone?

I would wait until I had another node or two and top it to the second node. Then clone that top while the plant recovers. At that point you will have two to four main colas. Let them veg until they are about half way to the lights and then flip. This way you have clones of each in veg, make sure to label the clones so you know which ones are girls later.

I understand you are excited, but like you said earlier, patience. If you flipped now you would get a tiny bud like I grow in my PC, only two or three grams. If your not interested in clones or mothers, you could top now at the top node. You still want to let them veg, but it will fill in faster. The disadvantage is you won't have any clones if one is a keeper.

Id like some clones its my understanding they grow faster and bushier and yea i dont want to do anything to fast for my cab what looks like it would be the best way to go lst, scrog, sog, not quite sure what would be most effective but will do reikox trying to get as much bud as possible so i dont want to fuck anything up

Im thinking these look cool screw in 13 watt leds with color spectrum throw 2 in flower box in between 10 watt leds but theyre $40 a bulb who knows how good they are... anyone seen heard used these anythings how do they look to anyone???

Thanks crowder still few more tweaks to do need to trash the aluminum foil n get mylar of some sort for better heat and reflection in flower chamber and get box on wheels lil off floor cuz its cold floors hella cold round here and intake running on floor of flower chamber breezes plants good but cold on them especially at night when lights go off

And btw thank you for this ReikoX i am interested in clones what do i need rooting powder right? And when they get high enough exactly how to top it to get the 2 to 4 colas come off and use the top to clone

I've been struggling with clones lately. I made a Fay's Coffee Can Cloner (Google it). Its just a coffee can with an airstone in it. No rooting powder or anything. I was looking for a 100% organic method. In the summer it worked great. When it got colder, I added a small aquarium heater and again it worked. This winter i still had success but took almost 20 days to get roots. I have tried perlite and cloning powder with limited success. I just recently got some Rapid Rooters and a humidity dome and was going to try that.

To get the four tops check out Uncle Ben's Topping (Google it). Basically you grow to 5 or 6 true nodes then top just above the second true node. The first and second node should then become the dominant nodes and produce the four colas.
